I haven't realised it till now that with the rotation of the core sets Zephrys becomes different in some essential way. I would want a refund for him, because his abilities to affect the game changes. But the biggest problem became with this rotation. Polymorph, Earth Shock, Mass Dispel and Flare basically were deleted from Zephrys pool. I havent read all of the changes so maybe more cards are absent. These cards were basically reason most of the time you played Zephrys and with his actual pool... he is kind of shit.
So for a change I would suggest either refund for Zephrys or revert some cards to their original form (Tinkmaster Overspark) and add normal playable for best tradeable secret removal card that will actually be playable in decks.
Not to mention I think the game is overdue for neutral polymorh or generally good tech cards.

"Minion to minion the basic of all combats, only a fool trusts his win to an OTK"
Well then it is really just mix of weird things in my game. I had lethal damage on board and got offered this which not even one guaranteed lethal, opponent had malganis and 5/7 taunt demon. (I know Zeph can't read cards but I guided him for silence so I get lethal, he doesnt even offered Polymorph.
On the other side, I have played Ice Block, opponent triggered it, I replayed Dawngrasp and we ended in state as in screenshot. I was at 5 and left him with 5 attack minion. He played his Zeph after wards and just flamwarded my board, didn't pick Flare. This was already second Zephrys and his first one was played when I had 3 secrets, he did not pick Flare either.
So all of this with my shit picks it really seemed like he doesn't offer them. Well in the end he doesn't offer them anyway so he is shit too. He never offers the good cards.

It looks like Zeph can't tell that the immune is from Mal G, so he only offers responds to the board, since silence wouldn't "save you" from the board. I can see legacy cards with legacy water marks at least.
Yes he can't read, but you have to admit that being opposed to 8 and 9 mana minions with big stats and one with deathrattle, he would at least offer polymorph. Seriously it feels like he never offers good cards, why is protector there? There is always one useless card that could be something else.

Defender is shite yes, but you also had only 5 health left and bgh made sense as a value removal over polymorph. Sure mass dispel should have been the card instead of defender and maybe polymorph instead of flame (unless you had a high attack minion), but I guess zeph can't read that one character is only out of lethal range due to another characters passive ability. I remember him being better thou...

Why would he offer Polymorph? It leaves a minion up, which is lower priority to killing and thus fully removing it. Zeph will also not offer other Silence effects because they don't do anything with your board state.
The priorities are:
lethal if possible - it's not for your board because the opponent is immune, thus there can't be lethal.
dealing with the board - board clears or single target, that's what you have: BGH and Shadowflame
healing - lower priority because it only delays instead of dealing with the board
some misc and niche stuff
Zeph will also offer a card from each bucket depending on the weighting. So you will get damage, single target or aoe removal and then one slot will be a random "look what I found!" option. That's what Argus is here.
And no, you wouldn't play Zeph for Poly, Silence or Flare. You would play it for Nether, Fireball, Wild Growth and not some finicky, niche stuff that is highly depending on board states and "what if" conditions.
Have a look at the other Zeph threads about "why not Hex", "why not Poly", "why not Flare" for dozens of reasons why that's not where you rely on Zeph.
Zeph offers silence in form of earthshok often, and it will offer polymorph / hex against a single big deathrattle minion consistently, just not against multiple big targets
should have traded 2/3 for one board slot then Shadow Madness (3mana) the 3/9 voidlord and ud atleast get a useful Zeph. Mass dispel only shows when it can silence a full board.

Zephrys chooses from the Legacy Set, not the Core Set. Legacy = the former Basic, Classic and HoF Sets.
