Hey friends, I just got back into HS after a lengthy break and wanted to know what quest I should craft with some dust I have. I've been playing a couple weeks, got some returning player packs and all so I've got a lot of supporting cards.
I already opened or crafted the DH, Rogue and Shaman quests, and I'm mostly considering the Hunter, Warlock, and Paladin quests, but I wanted to know what you guys would consider with more playtime and such.
Paladin: Most of the good 1-drops and Silver Hand support rotated, leaving this one largely stranded.
Priest: Mostly seen in a gimmick Reno Jackson deck as the win condition. Not super good, but it's pretty fun.
Warlock: Another more gimmicky one. Like Mage, it's largely stranded as the good self-damage cards rotated, but it's got the makings of a potential deck or two, and could be built many different ways. Worth mentioning it's currently Banned in Wild.
Warrior: Most popular quest on Ladder, but mostly at low ranks. Easy to pilot, curves out easily, but it's a really vanilla tribal deck. Was recently nerfed so you can try it if you want.
You forgot my dear Rogue haha but it's very weak right now hope it get some love in this year of the hydra, i dunno ... they should made Mathias Shaw for Quest Rogue, such a miss opportunity imo.
Questlines are not in a good spot right now. Some where never good (Druid, Paladin, Priest), some lost most of their enabling cards to the latest rotation (Demon Hunter with Glide, Mage with Cram Session & Incanter's Flow, Warlock with Backfire, Raise Dead and Flesh Giant, Shaman mainly with Lightning Bloom), Rogue lost all of its good card draw to the rotation and is overall not in a good spot (not a quest-specific problem) and that leaves the Warrior quest which seems to still be performing well at low ranks, but is not that good of a deck the higher you climb (plus it's also a very boring, linear, auto-pilot deck) and the Hunter one which is the only legitimately strong one at the moment
Out the 3 you mentioned, Hunter seems the most legit while being somewhat fun (not for me though). If you have more dust, I'd craft the portrait as well.
I think Druid is a bait, it's very easy to counter and has matchups which you absolutely can't win, which I really dislike about any deck.
I still play Quest Rogue ocasionally, it did lose few important cards but if you know how to play it, you'll be fine.
Your comment is so weird, it's literally the same to Quest Rogue, you said that druid is a bait (maybe it really is in the current state of the game) and you dont like that because it cant win some matchups but Quest Rogue is fine? It's not even a matter of know how to pilot but Quest Rogue have 0 chance against both of the most popular decks right now (CW and aggro DH).
The thing is maybe Quest Druid is a bait yeah, but it's so much better and versatile than Quest Rogue like not even close. I can see you doing "fine" with Quest Rogue against other mediocre decks but that's about it.
You still have over a week before the nerf refund ends for raid the docks. You can just craft it, play and disenchant the card when you get tired of pirates

While I disagree with few points, I don't want to discuss it in this thread.
To sum up my main point: the only quest I'd recommend crafting is Hunters.
Out of the ones OP already has, I played Rogue quest and if you have other Rogue cards to build the deck you can try it out. If not, don't bother crafting them.
Tbh no quest are worth crafting atp most cards that make the quest work are gone the only one still playable is hunter
If I was a new player or just tight on dust I'd heed this statement.
If one has a decent amount of dust and feels inspired by a specific quest line, sure have fun, but except for hunters, there isn't really a meta quest line. I think that druid has some cool quest deck options and warrior is still playable but neither are really recommendable. There is of course a trend where quests and heroes have the most impact on your games, making them somewhat more essential cards to craft than minions, with exceptions like Kazakusan. So if you really want to get some guaranteed fun for the dust? Quests and heroes are generally a good shot.
id craft whatever quest i found fun and dont care about the meta or the WR. ultimately, you wont play something you dont find fun even if it has 100% broken WR, but is boring. besides, the meta evolves but cards do not (or very very rarely). so id make an investment on fun. Open the Waygate looks the most fun to me , but its personnal preference ^^

Cheers.
Been playing since Old Gods. Good times.
Quest Druid is kinda poppin and it looks fun to play, Savjz was playing it today on his stream i recommend check it out.
he should release the VOD tomorrow...
Cheers from Brazil.
Interesting, I did like the Sidequest Druid back in the Galakrond days. Do you have the list he was playing? Was it Wild or Standard?
Been playing since Old Gods. Good times.
Only tomorrow when he release the twitch VOD or youtube video...
But yeah, it's standard mode using Lost in the Park :)
Per class, for Standard:
You forgot my dear Rogue haha but it's very weak right now hope it get some love in this year of the hydra, i dunno ... they should made Mathias Shaw for Quest Rogue, such a miss opportunity imo.
I ignored the ones OP already owns because if they wanted to, they could try it out. Rogue was one of the three they already own.
Awesome, thanks for the heads up on the rotations.
I'll see what I actually have and make a decision form there, thanks guys!

I'm not Paul George, I'm just a fan.

Rogue questline is still ok. u just have to be smart about it and use it as tempo instead of aggro. ofc u get destroyed by any dh :/

Hunter questline, it's too easy and retarded, like the devs behind it.

I am unable to craft raid the docks. Has something changed about the method to unlock this card?
