So i just faced a rather odd priest deck.....but he summoned all these 7/7 clams that he then silenced and killed.....only 1 of the 8 or so that he killed actually triggered a deathrattle from not being silenced but when he played this Xyrella card the card still triggered all of the deathrattles as if they were cast normally.....not sure if this is intended but it definitely seems broken.....there is no reason deathrattles that didnt trigger in the game should be triggering from a separate card effect as the minions themselves died normally when that was never the case.....
How is it not working as intended? Xyrella reads “trigger the deathrattle of every friendly minion that died this game.”
For your point to have merit, it would need to read “Trigger all your deathrattles that triggered this game,” or however they would choose to word that.
The current version says nothing about them needing to have triggered prior whatsoever.
It's working as intended and yes, I agree that it's total horse manuer. I run a similar priest deck with the silence theme, but I dont own the hero card and the deck does decent. If I put the hero in it and played it, it will literally double the win-rate. Fuck all of the hero cards. People complain about stuff like drek thar, but the real problem with the game is these blatently overtuned hero cards. Ben Brode said it best when he said that the hero cards from the Frozen Throne were a mistake and they "don't want to print any more hero cards for the forseeable future" right before leaving. Theyre so toxic because your opponent has literally 0 counterplay to them. Can't even rat them out. Once these all rotate out, we'll actually have a new meta, but for the time being, we're in for another year of the meta from 'Fractured in Alterac Valley' with a few new cards added. Also, fuck Raid Boss Onyxia seriously. Who asked for this in the game????
doesn't trigger the elek mount deathrattle eventho it should. great work devs
I don't think it should. Xyrella's text says that she trigger the deathrattle of every friendly minion that died this game. When you play Elekk Mount on a minion you give it a specific deathrattle via the spell, but it's not the minion's deathrattle originially. Xyrella looks at all your minions that have died and looks at any deathrattles they have in their text and triggers those. It doesn't trigger all deathrattles that have triggered in the game. Another implication is that she will always trigger the deathrattle of a deathrattle minion that was silenced before dying.

Correct, it will trigger any MINION with a deathrattle's deathrattle on play even if the deathrattle didn't go off initially. Its checking for dead minions with the initial DR tag not the DR trigger itself.

Working as intended based on Xyrella's card text
It's both as intended and how similar cards such as nzoth worked in the past.
