I honestly do not understand how a card like Mecha-Shark made it past testing? I really need to understand the philosophy behind creating such a card and also giving the class the ability to discount Mechs so that they can burst the board and face. Like as a Paladin, I need to develop my minions in hand or on board to finally be able to have something to fight with, and its all REACTIVE whilst Mecha-Shark can do that and clear everything WHILE pushing face damage.
Here's the deal then: Before the release of all the new cards, there was all this chatter of "Omg, everything is Rush nowadays! Good luck having a board!"
Mage have NO cards that have Rush. Literally, if you search Rush, Mage and Warlock class cards just vanish from your options. And do you know how many Mech cards in the Neutral pool have Rush? ONE! The damned Mothership! Mage is left in the unenviable position of playing their stuff first and letting the opponent react, or playing second, and relying on chaining effects together to address a board.
So yeah, it's not at all how you are perceiving it.

Paladin literally has only one rush mech and its the colossal, for 1 more Mana the mage colossal deals 2 damage to all enemies with 2 rush minions and if you have more well great more reactivity. ITS NOT about RUSH, its about the freaking damage output for such a simple combo were Paladin can't even keep up with!
I don't know how strong it will be in the coming days as people figure out what works and what doesn't. From what I've seen, the deck just runs mechs and 2 spells. That's not a recipe for longevity.

I mean, mechs has always been like that they have insane synergy between them , that's no surprise.
I just opened some golden mechasharks and waiting for the nerfs lol, hope it happens the card is nutty.

I’m clueless as well it’s broken as fuck just spam mechs and go face
because they were worried that board-based Mage gonna be unplayable, unlike Spell Mage last year..
What are you guys playing against it to lose so often? Lol

Your mistake is in thinking that Blizzard actually tests anything before release lol
WE ARE THE PLAYTESTERS.

Not sure what your talking about.I am unaware of any "chatter" about rush.
The only thing I am perceiving is that, once again mage is op.This time with mechs.
Literally responding to a post about mech rushes...
