Usually a week or so before a new expansion launches we already get a patch that includes the new battle pass. Does anyone know if this is happening tomorrow or at a later date? I have a couple of Alterac Valley achievements that I try to complete before they 'expire' and no longer offer XP
I think SirJohn13 has the same problem than me. Where the new patch lock out any achievement reward concerning experience track.
Btw, Can't wait the day where people will "ask" Blizzard to remove this stupide time limit for exp reward. Might take some years as few of us complain about this.

I said something about this on the first one they did, I even kind of wish they left the last expansion still available for xp as well, especially as the mini set sometimes have had only 6 weeks to complete over a dozen niche tasks which is near impossible unless you play many hours on duels.
Just the newest expansion and the one before I think is still fair, there might be a few tasks that become very easy to complete with a new card that gets added but all of those scenarios might only accumulate like an extra 600xp which really ain't much for a whole 4 months longer...
My guess is the achievements will stop granting xp when the next patch launches, probably on Thursday - but it could be as early as tomorrow after the announcement.

Fractured in Alterac Valley Achievements will stop awarding XP with the launch of Patch 23.0 on April 5 whereas the Rewards Track will swap over with the launch of Voyage to the Sunken City on April 12.

To live is to suffer, to survive is to find meaning in the suffer!

Exactly, the patch with the new battle pass usually drops around 1 week before the new expansion....
Sorry, but it is happening tomorrow:

Well right on time. I just finished triggering 250 Hunter secrets and all that is left is to draw ~40 more cards with the DH 4-mana 5/4 guy...
