As the title suggests which cards are you looking most forward to see come back in the updated core set. Aside from that what cards are you looking most forward to see rotate and maybe even early HoF (looking at you Mr Smite).
For me I'd love to see the classic revamped dragons stay and to see cards like netherspite historian and twilight drake come back seeing as how dragons just kinda got reintroduced into the game but there aren't a lot of them causing decks to only run Kazakusan.
I'd like to see shaman keep Tidal Wave and get back witch's brew and as well as unstable evolution to pair with Azshara's Radiance
I'd also love to see stonehill defender come back because i just love taunt cards.
Cards or archetypes i can't wait to see go are libram paladin, i didn't mind the design of these i'm just so tired of watching pallys play 8-9 librams in one turn across multiple minions. Another combo i can't wait to see go is to solar eclipse and cenarion ward.
Well, I guess we should get some Mechs, otherwise the new cards won't have enough Mech synergy.
Sneed's Old Shredder
Blingtron
Antique Healbot
Hecklebot
I know probably before every Expansion someone says this, but I'm not really impressed by these new cards so far. I'm saying this despite the fact that I will have the most complete collection ever. I have almost every useful Legendary and Epic card of the last 3 Expansions, and have like 23k gold (not planning to spend them all) and a ton of Dust prepared.
Loatheb and cards like him (they should be more printed) are the cards that punish very hard who play passively. Who don't fight for the board or who think himself smart with a deck full of cards for board removal. We will have also (for sure) the issue of quest hunter so Loatheb easy choice.
I crafted him in gold Loatheb is one of my favourite cards ever made. I love play it when I know that opponent is fucked even before it is his turn.

Gotta agree, I miss the old mechs quite a bit, excited to see what happens to them :)
I don't get why so many people want Smite to go so badly. Like, I don't really like the card myself, but I can probably count on two hands the amount of times I've lost to that card; it's only really it randomly getting generated from The Juggernaught and the druid Survival + Smites combo I don't like getting hit by, and that deck barely sees play and Survival is rotating.
As far as cards coming back, Zilliax would be cool, I like Zephrys (unpopular opinion, the decks I've enjoyed playing the most are janky highlander decks), any burgle rogue support (Zephrys qualifies), Recurring Villain, Tess, and Benedictus are things that would be awesome for me to see.
I am holding out for Bad Luck Albatross (such a good birb) especially if they do add highlander nonsense. It also works against Kazakusan nonsense, promoting new space.
Also worth thinking about is Hecklebot. Sure, not as good as a certain rodent, but it is a mech and would then have synergy with some of the revealed cards.

Google search: Is Hearthstone free to play?
I agree with your cards. And for me personally as a highlander enthusiast I hope for a returning Reno Jackson :)

HoF - Mr. Smite
Zilliax and Antique Healbot back
Reno Jackson and The Lich King :D
I also loved the heroes like Frost Lich Jaina but I don't think they will ever return.
Personally, I don't care too much about the core set. They are old cards that we know and I am bored to played them.
I am caring a lot about the expansion since are new cards. But it is so disappointing this expansion. Always the same stuff. Blizzard doesn't dare.
Anyway, considering how things are going, I think Loatheb would be a smart decision.

With today reveal of Naga Giant. My big return wish is for Holy Wrath, just to try it out :D
I mainly play Druid and Warlock.
Lost in the Park might lose Pounce and Feral Rage from the current Core. It will also lose Moontouched Amulet. While Lost in the Park was not "competitive", it was still very fun to play with. If we lose all of those card... it's a dead card for sure.
Secure the Deck and Savage Combatantcould help a lot and I am still hoping for some late Naga reveal.
As for Warlock... I miss Mal'Ganis.
Gotta agree, I miss the old mechs quite a bit, excited to see what happens to them :)
When your opponent has lethal:
I hope they don't remove Selective breader, he is the VIP in all my hunter meme decks.
What happens to the cards they introduced in the last core set in case they decide to retire them (let's say, the new dragon aspects)?
Do they disappear from the collection? They are still available in wild?
They’ll be moved to wild
We will have to craft them for use in Wild, right?
I believe Dirty rat is on the top of the list for many.
Healbot or some decent neutral healing card.
1 more disruption card (like a neutral gnomeferatu)
if they introduced a buffed Deathlord I would be so happy. It might be one of my absolute favorite cards :)
The highlander package
There a lot of cards I'd wish for utility, but I'll just mention 3 cards with flavor that I wish were added:
Blingtron 3000
Nexus-Champion Saraad
Hallazeal the Ascended

How the hell most people forget to mention Zilliax is beyond me!!
No brainer with the re-introduction of mechs!!!
:)
