Since MS has a business of its own and want to grow a game platform may mindless card design to serve an even reprehensible target mass come to pass. Serving a mature crowd and taking their costumers seriously might just benefit the games especially hearthstone. Imagine no more Tickatus, no more mr. Smite and any other for which devs' humanity is questionable.

We make our world significant through the courage of our questions and the depth of our answers.
I think we won't even notice anything, just the money going to a different party which is what this transfer is essentially all about. Doubt they will even touch the hearthstone development team in any matter.
Well, the important question is: What will happen with Blizzard games? Some people say Microsoft will include World of Warcraft and Diablo in their Game Pass, but what about Hearthstone?
I mean 10$ for the Game Pass seems reasonable but if we look only at Hearthstone it is basically f2p now, but for how long?

So, Blizzard finally ends its run as a "small indie company", With MS acquiring it, it'll be interesting to see how much of any changes are made to its games.
My only issue is I absolutely HATE Microsoft itself. It's past reputation of bad customer relations coupled with some other not so nice things about its higher managements damns them completely in my book. Wish it was someone like Sony or even a lesser known third party company that got them instead.

Microsoft can't make Blizzard any worse than Activision already did.

It is a no. I am flying. And now, it is time to pay.
