Often times in streams and in tournaments the pronunciation of Libram is (in my opinion) incorrect.
The Libram cards are clearly about people reading books and gaining knowledge as depicted by the artwork and animations. Books are found in libraries, which is the clear source of the term Libram.
Since library is pronounced lye-brary, not lib-rary, so should Libram be pronounced Lye-bram, not Lib-ram.

Naturally I'd pronounce it like the op suggested but english is not my native language.
Although I couldn't find it anywhere, Librams are definitely a take on the word "Liber" in Latin, which means book, two of the different possible conjugation are "Libro" (current Italian word for Book) or Librum/Librem
The correct pronunciation is "Lee-Bram" and definitely not the same as Library
And i don’t even play Paladins

Some influence from "liber" seems obvious, but the Latin declination of "libram" would mean "libra" (scales) as base word. "Librum" as suggested in the blog post would be closer and could indicate some bastardisation, potentially as "librum - libram" sound similar.
But yeah, English isn't consistent at times. Just think of read-read-read.
When I was but a young lad, my primary school teacher taught us that when you pronounce words, you look at where the vowels are relative to the consonants to determine which sound you make for each letter. Of course, this is english, so it's inconsistent and breaks all its rules all the time... HOWEVER...
Because "libram" has two consonants between the I and the A, the "i" sound should be the short version. So it should sound like "ih" instead of "eye".
Thus, "lib-ram" is how I think it should be said.

Well, if referencing latin is the best we got, who am I to argue? There is almost no situation where I am going to say this word out loud, so it doesn't really matter to me, anyway.
English is such a weird language sometimes...
But at least we all know it's pronounced gif, not gif.
English literally has 0 rule and makes 0 sense when it comes to pronunciation. Say the word libram however you want, you cannot be wrong.
