Without mentioning the Quest or the Owls, I just remembered why I hated the game back in Barrens. Tickatus, delete your opponent's deck for no penalty, why bother playing Control at all?
I can't believe they haven't deleted this card yet. It feels like a punch in the gut. Absolutely un-interactive. Just bam, 10 cards gone, you wanted to use them? You were saving them for fatigue? Too bad, should have played ultra-aggro and win on turn 4.
Yeah yeah, the win rate of Tickatus is bad, but his killjoy rate is high enough for nerf already.
That's highly redundant since any deck is beatable.
But Owl Lock is beatable without much effort or specific deck building. Just throw 2x Rustrot Viper into your deck (which are very useful in this meta anyway) and you're good.
All modern HS combo decks are based on mana cheating, but Owl Lock is the only one you can interact with. Theoretically, he could guarantee one Rod tick by playing Runed Mithril Rod + Backfire + Life Tap in one turn, but that would cost 9 mana (or 8 mana with additional Tour Guide), which would be way too slow.
What are you playing where they even care about the Viper? Even 8/8's dont matter cause they can just play 3 mana Deal 5 with Morgar Artificer.
The issue isnt disrupting their mana cheat but finding things that can actually survive the removal. Since all your really doing is survive till they draw through their whole deck instead of winning on 7 or 8.

Besides, when he has to pay full mana cost for everything, the whole game takes much longer and it's more likely, that he'll be forced to use some of his combo pieces to withstand the opponent's pressure (because his survivability is limited). Try the deck yourself, or at least watch some streams, then you'll see...
Actually, this reminds me that Tickatus could wreck an Owl deck, so thanks!
You can build any deck to beat the owl deck if you want to greatly worsen your other matchups.
This statement means little lol
The statement means exactly what it says. Tickatus wrecks combos, as it always has, and it's fun to play now that there are some unpleasant combos to wreck. I'm not sure why you imply that it makes a deck "worse." It's a build-around card that you'd never just haphazardly toss into a random deck.

this rotation?

No one plays it anymore.
Ok, we went 4 months without a Tickatus hate thread, that was something at least;)

I agree
Corruptlock might be fine overall tbh
If you want to destroy owl just use 2 vipers, without the weapon the deck does nothing
Warlock is beatable. What about shaman freezing your board every turn?

Lol? Without mana reduction he's MUCH slower (needs turn 8 to trigger Grimoire of Sacrifice + Humongous Owl) and he can't even pull off his full combo, because Wicked Shipment + Tamsin Roame + Tamsin's Phylactery + School Spirits + Mo'arg Artificer is 13 mana. Without mana reduction he can only do half combo (for 56 damage) but with some board, the other player can even survive that!

THANKS GOD A NON-IGNORANT PLAYER WHO KNOWS THE REAL ISSUE OF THE DECK
Well Tickatus is back on the menu....
Yeah, it's not like Tickatus Corrupt Warlock is a legend deck.

Its easy, just play Warlock if you want to beat Warlock. You even have 3 different flavours and the class isnt overtuned
Is there any deck out there that Warlock cant beat?
Seriously feels like Warlock can win any matchup
First of all, Warlock isn't even T1, its highest winrate deck is 56%. And it only has two variants >50%
Anacondra Druid stomps both. So do Mozaki Mage, buffadin, and aggro ele sham.
For future, just so you know, you can check what a deck is weak against at HSReplay > Meta > By Class
