This was terribly cringy. First, Chess AI is good. HS AI is terrible. I'm pretty sure bronze players can beat it consistently. And even if they can't the HS AI just makes stupid mistakes and plays that make no sense. Second, Slyssa calling herself the 'second best player in the world' is a complete joke. Just cause she was at one point Legend 2 on NA doesn't make her the second best player in the world lol. Not even on that region for that matter. You reaching Legend 1 one time doesn't mean that at any point you where the best player even on your specific region for fuck sake. You can just rush to legend on day 1 and get that ranking, so no, she wasn't the second best player in the world at any point and it's only cringier that she brings it up like 3 or 4 different times. HS is not like Chess, there's not a set ranking that says yeah this person is the best currently. The closest thing is the world championship, whoever wins it on a certain year can say they are the best player in the world, at least for that period of time, and whoever was the runner-up can say they're the second best technically. But saying you were the second best HS player IN THE WORLD at some point just cause you got to legend 2 in one server one time is laughable. By those standards everyone that has ever been top 1 is better than Slyssa and a lot of people have done that.
My opinion is that if people are seriously impressed with these marketing videos then the hearthstone community is beyond hope. These videos were cooked up by a think-tank whose job is to figure how to separate more players from their money and how to impress stockholders. That's what "in partnership with BSSP" means at the end of the video, they are BRAND consultants.
The worst part is how incredibly out of touch it all is and yet great swaths of the community don't seem to get it. They think it's real and just sit there simping for Slysssa and/or Kasparov, two social influencers who spent more time in the makeup department than they did playing Hearthstone against each other. Meanwhile the game is getting worse by the month as they divert resources away from the OG game modes and write fanfics instead of adventures.
If you think the state of the game is bad now, wait until the company gets their way and Hearthstone is accepted as a respectable esport after the 2022 Asian Games. Once they're established in such a lucrative business, they'll have even less reason to listen to the social influencers they have under their thumb, let alone actual players. They'll soon be able to blacklist or fine any players/commentators that breathe wrong too, just like the other big brand esports have already been doing.
My opinion - Never cared less. Blizzard wants to make HS look like a serious game - they hire an old chess champion and they make him play with a streamer (whose on their payroll).
Edit:
The thing I would find interesting would be seeing Kasparov getting tilt ;)

Slyssa is sexy, that's the only thing that seems to matter. :P

I don't know... Call me sceptical but I'm pretty sure all those people making stupid comments on Youtube are getting paid by Blizzard too. ;)

Cringe
I'm pretty sure most people are fully aware of such a thing already.
Slyssa is sexy, that's the only thing that seems to matter. :P

Indeed, cringe as f..k! :(
