I just faced a Mage in Wild that was able to use infinite Ignites - one after the other - on the same turn to win. I was at 30 health too.
What the fuck is this? In the six years or so that I have been playing this, I've never seen this level of broken trash in my life. Does Blizzard know what the hell they are doing anymore? They'll nerf cards that have been around forever that don't need it but leave others (like Apprentice) which causes decks like that to exist. No interaction. You just sit there and watch your opponent play the card repeatedly until your dead while they emote well played.
Seriously this game is a joke at this point. I get Wild is supposed to be a little crazy but that's just over the top ridiculous.
The most recent expansion had a heavy emphasis on inevitability. Ignite, questline mage/shaman/warlock (hunter to a lesser extent), even elwynn boar. There dont exist cards that can reasonably stop these win cons, you just have to win before they pull it off. So the solution is to figure out what turn these decks tend to win on, and make a deck that can win before that. There are plenty of ways to slow them down too; far watch post, that 1/4 that makes battlecries cost more, the 6-mana 5/5 that makes spells more expensive, etc. So slow them as much as you can, and win before they can go off. It's rough, but it is what it is. I miss pre-stormwind wild, tbh

WILD
Tried that deck, its actually hard to pull it off due to animations. But OTK combos have been a thing in (wild) HS
I know they have but usually they're late game. This was done midway through with zero chance to stop it.
