This topic has been argued to death, many times, and the general consensus has been that the way it works currently is the best overall for a compromise to both sides.
If a player is AFK or lets the rope time out on one turn, then the following turn will already start with the rope. That mechanic is already in the game. However if a player chooses to use the whole of his turn to the full, that's his right and is well within the rules of Hearthstone. Whether it is good sportsmanship is another thing entirely - and not really relevant to the issue at hand.
Gotta love the moderation on this site, lets discourage all legitimate discussion, lets ban and silence any voice we don't like. I especially love the way the moderator calls blizzards position consensus.

Not to point out the blindingly obvious, but I neither banned nor silenced the OP or his post. So that's one fallacy.
Secondly, if you actually read what I wrote, I explained that the topic had been argued to death with the implication of that statement being here on these forums, and therefore the "general consensus" was that of the forum community, rather than Blizzard.

idk if i'm alone but i experience extremely much Ropers since the last weeks. they play their turn and dont end it.
Easy games last about 20 minutes and you can't do sht to stop them not ending their turn.
What do you think? Would it be better if a player ends 2 turns in a row with a rope, his next turn will start immediatly with the rope again.
Im currently at rank 8 Diamond wild, 2/10 games are ropers.
Take the W and wait 20 minutes or concede.
I'm at Diamond 10 in wild. If I get a matchup I hate like Odd Hunter, I don't waste 5 seconds and concede.
If you want fun, choose fun and concede a lot. Unless you are trying to make legend for the first time in wild or have a reason to be invested in your rank.

You can forgive, but never forget.

So... you might want to reconsider your comment.
Just gotta laugh at this
