So, i hit legend few days ago for the first time. Won few games, and the ranking went up quite a bit. Then i lost like 6-7 in a row and plummeted downwards facing rank 1-3 players. Problem is, now i won like 6 times in a row (facing D1-3) my ranking never went up! Either it was even lower by 1-3 or stayed the same. It's pretty frustarating (even tho i had a losing streak) when i won like 6 times a row and gained nothing. Can someone explain? Thank you.
How many times i have to win to gain anything? Feels like if i now lose 1 game then i need to win 10 times to gain anything..
Basically, when you reach Legend you usually have a higher rank (lower number). But if you do it at the beginning of the month, every game that you play after that will update your ranking and it will add to that ranking all the "new" players that reached Legend after that. This is the reason you can actually drop in rankings even after a win. I hope it helps and that the explanation is clear enough.

Thank you for your answer. Still curious, does it remember the losing streak? Or is win always a win, no matter how many times u lost before that? Does the ranking of your opponent count for anything? Thank you
Yes a win is always a win but as I said before when you win against a low rank you might actually see a drop in rank instead of a rise. Yes the ranking of your opponent counts and if you manage to beat a much higher ranked opponent you will gain more in terms of ranking. Not sure what you mean by "remember the losing streak"

What do you mean by remember?
It constantly updates your standing compared to all other players in legend. If you play a game versus a lower ranked player and lose, you drop in rank. In the mean time five other players have entered legend. If you win your next game, you are then compared to all previous players plus those new five players. If they are better than you, you will not gain ranks.
Simple example:
Only you (rank 1) and another player (rank 2) at legend. You lose, dropping to rank 2.
In the mean time a third player entered legend and is now rank 1. You play again versus the first player and win this time. What happens?
You stay at rank 2 because the third player is even better ranked and the second player drops to rank 3.
No matter i win or lose i keep declining. Feels like im bugged. And all the opponents i faced were D3-5 (Doesn't seem right..)
You should be gaining far more and losing far more in terms of rank with each match at that low in legend. I'm fairly certain you should be gaining and losing at least 100 with each match, although I haven't played in that rank range so I couldn't say for sure. The variance you're describing is more analogous to very high legend in my experience. Strange.

Just made a short list of my last games to sort things out.
Starting rank 3429.
Win 3430 - Lose 3433 - Win 3437 - Lose -3441 - Lose 3445 - Win 3456 - Win 3463 - Win 3467 .

It is matching your MMR and apparently it's somewhere among upper diamond. So with a low MMR you will lose rank even after a win.
Unless your goal is to reach high legend, don't worry too much.
