I dont think its very productive to argue with Petite Mouche, as you are coming off way to aggressive
That is correct, I apologize, but the main reason it isn't productive to argue with me is that I am 100% correct and I will prove you wrong every single time with my poor use of english langage, so yeah, kinda pointless if your goal is to change my opinion, instead of seeking the objective truth.
, you wont ever see others POV or opinions as valid or at least even consider what we are trying to talk about.
That is total bullshit, I could say the exact same thing about my POV and opinions
I don't see your opinion as valid because I believe it is invalid, simple as that, this has nothing to do with me being a bit aggressive and rude today.
i didnt even showed u my opinion, its my first time talking on this thread and topic. so you are already saying my opinion is invalid. Wow thats some next level shit right there. You can already see my opinion and disapprove it. you can see things before they happen...
i barely read any of the things u guys are talking here, i just read the first lines in every post u made here and they came off as way too aggressive hence me saying its pointless to try and have a civil discussion with you cause you will always push it away regardless of being right or wrong.
i mean you are saying u are 100% right when all ppl are talking here is opinions, not facts. leave the facts for when the game is actually out.
And finally 6) It pushes veteran players away, so much for attracting new ones with 4). Bad move, cause veteran players are the whales funding Hearthstone.
It pushes some veteran players away. Some veteran players with the same mentality as yours and unless proven otherwise I'll believe that you are a small minority.
I play since Old Gods, I think I qualify as a veteran. Mercenaries isn't pushing me away. I am excited about it because there are three possible options 1) I won't like it, I'll get some free Hearthstone stuff from the launch questlines and forget about this gamemode 2) I'll like the PVP part and will enjoy slowly leveling it up naturally with minimal investment 3) I'll like it and I'll find that I do need to invest and this means my American F2P server with its 50K gold stockpile will become mercenary F2P server. 4) I'll like PvE to the point that it will replace Hearthstone as my main game. After all, some burnout from Hearthstone is there.
As long as you can grind the mercs and get the same as the ones that pay, I don't see a problem with it. Some people got money to spend others like me must grind their way to the mercs we want.
i didnt even showed u my opinion, its my first time talking on this thread and topic. so you are already saying my opinion is invalid. Wow thats some next level shit right there. You can already see my opinion and disapprove it. you can see things before they happen...
Bro it's the big you, not "YOU" you. That's some next level shit that you didn't figure that out lol.

You cannot be serious. I cannot believe that. You fu**ing blame me for invalidating your opinion because I didn't hear it and you had to wrong interpretation, and now you pull of this absurd crap ?
How do you know it's pointless to have a discussion with me if you didn't even read my posts ? Why are you even talking to me right now ? Are you even reading this or di you stop at the first sentence again ?
I hope you're a troll cause if you're not, you the most retarded person I've ever met on Hearthpwn, and it's a bannable offense so you can report me for this if you wish, but I had to say it.
i mean you are saying u are 100% right when all ppl are talking here is opinions, not facts. leave the facts for when the game is actually out.
Oh no I talked about facts, sorry, wether you like it or not makes no difference.
My opinion is backed up by facts, that's how it works, and that's why my opinion is generally valid, and I don't even consider it an opinion when it's just the truth, as oppose to the opinion of people who don't even understand what a fact is.
Let's just end this discussion (everyone, not YOU little boy) because aggressivity fuels aggressivity, this is about to get ugly and I'll get all the blame for it so, no thank you, even though I deserve it. Those who lose an argument just love to pretend people who are right are wrong because of their aggressivity.
I am now leaving this thread and probably hearthstone.

Your first line here you try to circumvent so that you dont sound wrong, and then proceed to be aggressive throughout the whole post. like my initial post here was precisely telling ppl not to discuss stuff with you cause you are so aggressive, and u amp that aggression up times 10.
you have some lingering issues towards something and we shouldnt have to be hit by your misdirected anger.
you have some lingering issues towards something and we shouldnt have to be hit by your misdirected anger.
True, just read the whole posts next time and I'll go easier on you. What you did was also a form of aggression. Also you definitely triggered me so you had to be hit by my directed anger.
I mean I apologized plenty, I'm a lunatic and it's the internet, some day I'll be extra nice and some day I'll be extra dick.
Now everything has been said and I apologize one last time before leaving, just be aware that I attacked your thoughts not your person, and I'm still correct about the Mercs topic. Have a nice day.
I don't really know much about the mode, certainly not enough to buy anything at this point. I buy pre orders and odd bundles, no problem putting money in but not in something I don't know if I'll enjoy. I don't say this as a bad thing, I do the same with regular games, if I know I want it, I pre order, if I'm unsure, I'll wait and either pick up a physical copy (so it can be traded after) or wait for a sale etc.
If it's a mode I don't like, having played the version on launch, then I'll move back into other modes. Just as I did with arena, classic, duels etc. Some I play, some I don't.
What I do know is that it's OK if I don't like it. If it isn't for me, I don't like the gameplay or how you build a collection etc, then I'll do what I do with everything else in life that isn't for me - do something else. If I do really enjoy it, I will continue to play it along with the other modes I enjoy. If I enjoy it enough, I'll buy some stuff. I've no issue with people pre ordering, some people are happy to take that risk or are so in love with the lore etc that they'll enjoy any and all game modes.
ALL OF THAT IS ABSOLUTELY FINE. I don't need everyone else to think like me. I don't need other people to do what I'm doing. I don't hate a company for expanding their product range and looking to add an extra way of making money, this is totally normal behaviour.
If you repeatedly bitch about this game and company and yet still pour your time into playing it and complaining then more fool you. I've played some mobile games which I really didn't like the payment structure of. So I stopped playing them and moved onto sonething I do enjoy.
People have been convinced that them and their thoughts are actually special and that people should care about them. In truth, 99% of people do not give a crap, your perspective and views are your own but you are not so special that you as an individual should be catered for above others. The quicker some people learn that, the happier they will be....

We're just sharing our opinion like you just did. When you do it's fine but when haters do they are special snowflakes that no one should care about.
Nobody in this thread has demanded that they as individuals should be catered for above others.

Sure seems like you do
didn't you say you were leaving the thread and Hearthstone ?
This whole thread is nuts, everyone is operating on so little information that it's impossible to draw factual conclusions.
I'm curious about what "little" information we have because between the stream, blue post and the battle.net description of what the Mercnaries packs are going to be (*may be subject to changes) we know a whole lot about the game. I wonder if people didn't care enough to inform themselves or if there's something thay they didn't say or show that you're curious about
... just what is a person supposed to infer from this wet fart of a post? Keep your political leanings out of "muh card gaemz", please.
That said, I do have concerns not just on what Mercenaries appears to be, but what it appears to imply for this game in general. The focus of direction, the shunting of resources, etc. From a business standpoint, I honestly can't criticize a business for wanting to go this direction. Looking at the rampant and unslowing success of the gacha gaming system (and bizarrely, the people who defend it here because of card packs?), it does make sense from a money making standpoint. But as a consumer who remembers buying whole games for a fixed dollar amount, and then accepting the fixed "subscription" model of an MMO (when $15 a month was balked at by some), whatever this new system is appears to be nakedly exploitive towards something in the lizard brain of humans. And I don't want to reward that monster with my money.

If you took the time to read his posts you would notice that it's a light joke on how he says facts a lot, reminding me of Ben Shapiro. Regardless of their and mine political views but just based on their behaviors, you know, a joke, not propaganda

The monetization in Mercenaries is identical to that in Hearthstone in every possible way, so I find it a little weird that people are choosing to become all concerned at this moment, yet they still fully accept the existing Hearthstone monetization and even complain that Mercenaries will somehow reduce their ability to participate in the exact same system over in Hearthstone.
They could have made it much, much, MUCH worse by more closely following the true gacha models that are out there. If they had made Mercenaries anything like Genshin Impact, for example, I'd be sharpening my pitchfork right alongside everyone else. But they didn't. They made it much more forgiving by following their own model, which has worked just fine for the past seven years.
Furthermore, because Mercenaries is primarily a PvE game (a fact that everyone seems unable to grasp), you do not have to keep up with other players. Even if you participate in PvP, you will not be matched against someone with a numerically stronger party. They may turn out to be stronger because they created a more synergistic build than you, but they will not be higher level or more upgraded. My point is, no one should feel pressured to buy more than they can afford or are comfortable with -- and that's a lot better than Hearthstone in my opinion.

Yes game as in video game, and not HS mode.
