Check out the attached screenshot, legend players btw.
Just imagine the win rate of these decks if there aren't so many idiots playing them.
Edit: Both of them were on coin, didn't even try to play around it (well the mage tried the coin, but when next turn I had two secrets up the player played the quest anyways lmfao)
Hitting legend has been dumb easy ever since the ladder system was changed. There have been terrible players regularly hitting legend ever since. People complained it was too difficult in the old system, & now you see players like this in legend on a regular basis. Blizzard essentially holds their hand down the yellow brick road. I haven’t considered “hitting legend” a testament to skill in quite some time.
I tried it, just for fun, i challenged my RNGesus and made a ohmyjogg deck.
Just testing how often you are able to pull it off. Insta concede if it didnt work.
1. oh a shadow face priest / me got ohmyjogg and coin / concede
2. oh a quest druid / me got ohmyjogg and coin / concede
3. oh a shaman / got nothing / concede
4. oh a demonhunter / only got coin / concede
5. oh a paladin / only got coin / concede
6. uhhhhh the first warlock! wondered where they are hiding. / got double yogg / he played coin first / oh its NOT a quest warlock. / no concede since i wanted to see what kind of deck. looked like he did a daily / weekly quest / win
7. oh a hunter / got nothing / concede
8. oh a rogue / got coin / concede
9. oh a hunter / got yogg / concede
10. FINALLY! a quest mage / i got coin / concede
10 games and not a single chance to pull that trick
Now i feel dumb and switch back to my homebrew priest.
11. quest shaman / mutanutted his quest / win
12. ISP problems again, cant continue, so im going to bed

and then they create another topic on reddit about taking the legendary rank for the first time.. what a fucking shame! >_<
Any thread with the word "solitaire" or "uninteractive" in it, I will not care anymore. If both words are in it, I will consider you a troll.
Not to nitpick, but the title actually used the word "interactive". He is suggesting that the game is currently very interactive, and fun!
But also solitaire... I guess we'll call it a wash.
On topic: I definitely think some people don't really care that much when they play. Half watching TV or doing something else at the time. I can see this happening a lot, if you try it enough times.
Somewhat related fun story: I was playing my SI:7 rogue deck the other day and a paladin totally boozled me with this play. His first secret played actually wasn't oh my yogg, so when I coined and saw it wasn't OMY, I thought I was being smart by putting down my 2 drop instead, to not waste mana. He then proceeded to play the sword and pull OMY from his deck. I proceeded to not draw any of my cheap spells to check for it again.
Needless to say, I learned something that day, it's better to waste mana and make sure your quest gets online, than to try and be more mana efficient. Especially when your win condition is basically doing the quest... yeesh
Not sure why you thought it was a good or funny idea to post something like this. Like, bragging that you tricked two guys with Oh my yogg?
Cool beans, I dunno.
It's pretty easy to play around - only happens when on draw (else Q lands before secret can be down), so the opp clearly has a coin. Feels like a pretty obvious play to sac a minor bit of tempo there to ensure your Q isn't Yogged.
Particularly at Legend, they should be playing around it when a secret is in play and it's something crucial that they need to land.
Some seasons it was easy to hit legend, some not. This season I'm still stuck at diamond 5 for example and sww no option for taking legend yet, so stop bragging if you got a bit luckier than others.

I suspect that early adopters of the big meta decks will have had an easy ride, before the rise of aggro to counter. Got to see and seize your meta chances - one time I hit legend in Wild ridiculously quickly as the meta was almost entirely zoolock and I was playing freeze. Easiest legend ever. Presumably later that month the meta shifted and was less friendly to Freeze.
The real question is, who seriously still bothers nowadays to waste hours of their life away to reach Legend, when the reward is literally ONE (!!!) more pack ^^ "That is the very definition of Insanity" Albert Einstein
Good thing I'am playing till D5 every month within 5 hours or so and then resume doing more useful things for the remainder of the month.
With those 15-20 hours (required to get from D5 to Legend) I'am generating like 200 $ more a month. so yea... not time wisely spent I guess.
For the first 12 or 13 months since the ladder system change I routinely had the 11x bonus, which obviously is easy to hit legend with, but the last few months I haven't played nearly as much, and my star bonus dropped to 10x. I'm sure all of you know this, but until you hit diamond 5 you are just matched against other players that also started the season with a 10x star bonus, and still have some star bonus left. After you hit diamond 5 and run out of star bonus, however, you are then matched up against other players that also are in Diamond 5 with no star bonus - most of whom may have started with 10x sure, but also theoretically could have started with 8x, for example, and worked their way up to Diamond 5.
And man oh man are these players ever bad. My win rate from Diamond 5 to legend was massively high - I lost 2 games, and very little of that I would attribute to drawing well or getting good matches, it was just mistake after mistake after mistake from my opponent I would see.
Not everybody is a try hard, OP. When I hit legend, I massively reduce my attention, I typically play whilst watching/doing something else.
I'd be more concerned about why you are a similar MMR/rank to either bad players or people not concentrating at all. Doesn't speak much for you if you're there, try harding and desperately making every optimal play and yet are in the same bracket as the baboons.
I did this the other day and it was pretty funny. I didn't even pay enough attention to realise I was playing a Paladin. You might just take this game a lot more seriously than other people do.

There were plenty of decks prior to the ladder change that gave you easy legend at different times.
I'll list some for you - Mysterious Challenger Paladin, Aggro Spell Shaman and then Mid-Range Shaman, Jade Druid, Pirate Warrior, various iterations of Aggro Hunter, Mid-Range Hunter, Zoo Warlock, Mech Mage...
Point is, there have often been decks in the meta that you can pilot pretty suboptimally but are so strong relative to the other decks of the time you easily...and I mean easilymaintain a 55% winrate right the way up the ladder.
Funny how some of you think this is a brag...and no I did not try many games on ladder just to get this result. I only played a few games with the deck (like less than 10) and I hit two idiots in legend, which is pretty hilarious just by the percentage.
And if you are stuck at a certain rank and unable to progress, try to switch to other decks, copy pasta meta decks or home brewed decks that does not target anything is usually not a good idea for climbing.

It takes longer for you to climb because you don't have 11 star bonus.
Also, if you want to "generate" more income you could stop playing the game, instead of going like "hey look at me I'm so cool, I can make 200 bucks over 15-20 hours". That's lower than minimum wage btw, gl.

Hey he summoned a demon companion, seems like a win to me
I'm not Paul George, I'm just a fan.
It was the 2/1 charge as well, that's just unfair!
