I don't really get why people want to nerf the warlock quest itself. I understand stealer of souls can be very explosive but even right now that deck is just bad imo. HS replay has quest warlock with a sub 50% winrate and it absolutely gets crushed by shamans and paladins from what I've seen playing on both sides of the matchup. For mage the quest is not even that powerful either paladin remains super strong and if any thing needs a nerf its paladin and maybe something from doomhammer shamans.
Some of these nerf suggestions are making me smh. Why all the desire to nuke cards out of existence? Incanter's Flow to 4? Give me a break.
No intelligence here. If you are gonna defend a 2 cost card that theoretically in the opening hand with mana coin is capable of reducing a deck by 25 mana (depending on build) you are high as a kite. The fact it’s gone this long without being nerfed is simply stunning.
I really hope they only nerf incanters flow. I’m ok with battlemaster, don’t leave your board ungauarded with your opponent having two minions on turn 5. I’m ok with all of the warlock cards, as it turns out, if you pressure them early they are toast. I also love that priest finally beats a slower warlock deck, truly strange times we are living in. I think this expansion really made a good meta and once the bad decks get weeded out, this is ongoing to be fun. Incanters flow to three is all they need to do.

Sorry but NO it is NOT ok. You can't always get rid of super buffed up minions. That means you can't afford to be slightly behind vs classes like paladin else they smash your face with tons of damage on turn 5. How is that ok? How is that not busted?
Op do you still want to nerf incanter's flow, gadgetzan auctioneer and stealer of souls ? Cause they are nowhere to be seen in the best 10 decks of standard meta
Also going second with a questline deck seems to be a death sentence

The only reason its not in top 10, its because all this are some kind of agro decks that kill you turn 6. That said, mage and warlock are main reason people cant play different versions of other classes, like control to crush these agro decks to oblivion. Also, those decks (+ OTK DH and OTK rogue) are the most boring trash decks to play against. You just sit and watch YOutube while your opponent plays 20 cards in a turn and doesnt actually care about what you do on your turn.
It is sad that people still dont understand that the main reason we dont have rock-paper-scissors meta are those 4 stupid deck that restrict deck building opportunities for everybody.

Why does it matter what reason it is ? Quest mage is an irrelevant off meta deck period, so is garrote rogue and fatigue quest warlock. Name one meta where deck building opportunities weren't restricted or even denied by powerful decks ? You said that you can't play control to kill aggro because combo kills control.. That is... exactly the rock-paper-scissors meta you pretend doesn't exist. What you want is a rock-paper meta where you can destroy all the aggro decks and have equal chances against other control decks without being punished by any combo/OTK deck.
Aggro are the most played and, as seen in the picture, the most powerful decks in this meta. So yeah, you can and should play control, and accept that you will lose against the rare questline decks that go first, in exchange for winning against the many aggro decks.
OTK decks being boring to play against isn't new to UiS expansion. But it's boring because they control your board until the end of time, yet you want to play control against other players, which are pretty much combo decks that sacrificed their win condition for more control, you're just full of contradiction.
People do not want play control decks is cause of you didn't stand a chance against warlock/mage quest you just loose. You can't just put some teck cards to increase your chances, you just loose and that's bs. In every previous expansions was censer decks like Quest Rogue or Shudderwock Shaman but you still can win with some luck and tech cards
Just nerf all quest to shuffle in to the decks like priest have and at last you can do something with their cards like Mutanus and Shadow hunter Vol'jin
WHo said agro is the most played archetype? I meet at least 50/50 in my ranks. 50% of people playing OTK decks. That is just crazy. You suggest me to play control to have a chance to crush Agro decks, and loose to 100% of OTK decks. So I already before I start playing should accept to have less then 50% WR? You think it is good situation when one archetype has 100% loose rate to several decks in meta. Meta right now leaves players no choice, that is the problem. We only have rock and paper now, no scissors.
By your logic, we should nerf those top 10 decks since they have highest winrate? If you do that, OTK decks will be full meta. How fun will that be? You are not thinking more then 1 step forward.

Mage Quest need a change (Maybe 3 Fire Spells, then 3 Frost, then 3 Arcane) and think Warlock could stay same but Stealer needs to be gutted.
My sugestion
Ignite: activates the effect only if there is only fire spell in the deck
Stealer : work only for 1 card per turn
Quest warlock: not work in fadigue anymore
Artificie moarg: 3 mana, slow down a litle dh
Actioner : go for wild
Batlemaster : 7 mana
all i know is warlock is king in standard seems mage cant compete
If they need to nerf so many cards now it means they did a terrible job in the first place.
Battleground Battlemaster change it to 7 mana 7/7
Final Showdown increase first requirement to 5 cards
Trampling Rhino change it to 4/5
Incanter's Flow increase cost to 3 mana
Conviction (Rank 1) decrease damage by 1
Stormstrike reduce attack to +2
Stealer of Souls change to battlecry this turn only

The goal of a nerf should be to make things more fair. That would absolutely kill the quest and that should never be the intention of a nerf.

How is that underpowered.
As long as Incanter's Flow gets nerfed to oblivion and Gadgetzan Auctioneer get's HOFed, I will be happy

just nerf all the questlines...
To live is to suffer, to survive is to find meaning in the suffer!
