36% or 38% WR is just rediculous. Against all resistance I loved to play Priest because of the long and often tricky games. I'm not hyperactive and I don't need to win on turn 5 so Priest always was the class for me. But now a curse called new expansion came over the land and killed all Priests immediately. Thank you Merkel, thank you Blizzard. There is no chance fixing it imo.
What do you think, was it an planned act to get rid of all players who like to play minions and having fun with games going into fatigue sometimes?
To fix the meta they will buff priest over nerfing the rest. Too many cards too nerf so easy solution is to buff priest.
That's just not possible to fix the game with a priest buff. The quest is way too slow, Shadowform way to bad compared to the other classes and Priest just has no carddraw. OTK DH had his deck drawn at turn 8 and killed me with 96 damage on turn 9. With Mage i drew 6 cards on turn 4 and cleared 2 minions from my opponent and hit him for 29 from hand on turn 8. How should Priest have a chance against that?
I don't know guys, I just came back to my favourite control priest deck, after having terrible luck with miracle/garrote/quest rogue, refurbished it a little and am currently shitting hard on the quest mages, and most other (mostly DH) OTKdecks as well. Mutanus eating Dawngrasp every time gives me great pleasure, and makes some of the smorcing morons concede instantly :) 9-1 so far, so maybe it's just luck, but I am having fun. Adapt to these idiotic times, steal their shit, and use it against them, this is the way!

Sure, here is the current iteration, I tried switching some more cards for the new ones, but frankly they are a bit shit (or, you may say situational), and you are better off just discovering them when needed.
At least in wild priest is still working. I managed to build a somewhat ok version of quest priest. It wins against quest warlock at least about 45% of the time so its still ok.
I dont understand why they printed the priest quest that kills the enemy (suposed to be anti-control), when all the other classes can kill you in 1/4 of the time and you can do nothing about that
There are some people having a lot of success and winning even in high legend with some aggressive variants of Shadow Priest. It is too early to say that 'Priest is Dead'. Also depending on how the meta evolves, Control Priest can still hard counter some currently very popular meta decks
Against Quest Mage and Warlock? Not especially. But against anything else, it givers you a nice bit of midgame card draw and inevitability in slower match-ups. And just because Quest Mage and Warlock are super popular NOW doesn't mean they're always going to be.
So no, they hardly "killed priest". It's about as good as it was last expansion, it just matches up badly against the new hot decks. Which are rapidly losing popularity.
For my experience, priest's quest more usuall function is a 1 cost card which make you draw to cards. 1 mana card i can alwais play on turn 1 if there isn´t any other thing to do = 2 draws? give me ten, the rest of chain is just a plus.

The priest quest is easily one of the weakest, in most cases you get killed by turn 7 trying to complete it
