DH was way stronger then this meta so your wrong there...
i had like 90% win rate with DH when it come out
Unfortunately, this time it's not that one particular deck (or class) is overpowered, which would be much easier to fix.
Agreed and it also seems obvious that they are really trying to push the combo meta for whatever reason. Even if they tone done the combo-decks somewhat I am fairly sure they are here to stay.
For real , the amount of frustrating uninteractive decks is just too large and all of them just feel toxic to play against. I think i'll be skipping this one or at least wait for balance changes because i have literally been forcing myself to play since release and just wasn't able to have any fun at all... Quite the opposite , actually :/
People say every meta is "the worst" and complain when classes are 'shafted' in expansions, but complain even more when they later have a good deck. I used to be that way, but when I decided to accept it and play it for its ludicrous cards and decks, I found myself having more fun than I've had in a long time, since kobolds and catacombs. I much rather prefer this meta/expansion than a control-based meta any day. Games that last more than 5-15 minutes are boring as hell. Remember control warrior back in rise of shadows?
I have been playing hearthstone since the start and had a lot of fun. But this really is by far the worst meta I have ever seen.
"But but expansion have just been released" Yeah and I have played at every single release they ever made and meta have never been close to this toxic in any release ever before.
There is just no interaction what so ever. I have no clue why they have pushed this combo meta but it is utter rubbish. First time I am ever considering quitting hearthstone.
I have exactly the same experience with you. Playing since the beginning, this expansion makes me reevaluate how bad I've considered GvG and Gadgetzan to be.
Agree. Even streamers are calling the game solitaire...
I miss playing minions trading and shit. For now I'm back to AFK farming BG and playing something that's actually fun.
People actually trade I don’t think I ever seen some one trade in minions it was either combo decks or dataw ur combo or go face there was NEVER a expansion that people traded minions on board.

Then might as well dust all your 6+ mana cost cards
I really think people should realize that maybe when they don't have fun they can just, stop playing
I HATED the Tunnel Trogg/Totem Golem decks back in the days, that small period during Un'Goro when Flappy Bird Druid and Beast Hunter were dominant, I simply put the game on hold for a while. I stopped playing during Rastakhan because I wasn't having fun, and that's ok, sometimes you just need to realize that if you are opening the game and when you are closing it you feel worse, it's probably not fun FOR YOU but stop trying to push your agenda on others.
Objectively Un'Goro (my favorite expansion) Quest Rogue was annoying to play against and deserved the nerf, SUBJECTIVELY I loved it, the meta doesn't revolve around you and if you don't like it just leave until it gets more to your liking

Every damn cliche in the book on yet another rage post.
Idk about that. I main quest warlock and mage decks. And each time lost to non quest aggressive decks. Sometimes I even meet big warrior that kick my warlock nuts
After a while the ballance should be formed. People will play aggro to counter quest, and be countered by control decks.
I agree this game has become utter trash. Discover is the worst mechanic ever allowed. What a toxic and cheating mechanic along with all this infinite generation shit. Not to mention, who the fu*** asked for quests again? Big mayority of players hated it. This idiots don’t playtest either never i mean what they getting payed for? This game is a mess. Im so sad it don’t have like a real competition, that would put them in shambles, but since they know there’s no competition they keep throwing this garbage.
Well, I'm certainly disappointed with the expansion. That all said, it's hard to quit a game that you started playing during Beta. All the time, effort and money spent adds up. While it's virtually impossible to anticipate every combination of cards during testing Blizzard clearly needs to expand its testing group. They conduct almost all their testing in-house; and that needs to change. Remember when they thought Purify was a strong card? A card so bad, with such a niche usefulness, that Ben Brode had to record an entire video apologizing for it.

Dependable loan sharks since 1960. We sink our teeth into every deal we make.
Meta is great, only wild quest lock could need some kind of change (darkglare nerf/ban). There never were that many new decks out of one expansion before. The claimed solitaire Meta is non existent. The best quest warlock deck in standard is zoo (a board deck), quest mage is bad winrate wise (flow might need a nerf sometime, but if it’s nerfed mage need a revert to spring water and at least one more buff) and no otk. It does not kill you from 30 health on turn 7, most of the time it kills you over two turns after quest - and that’s around turn 8/9. The miracle garrotte rouge is the worst performing deck in the whole meta. OTK DH with quest isn’t better then without it, and it’s only good against the other so called combo decks. Handbuff pala, ele shaman, face Hunter, aggro priest - those are great decks. And they do play minions. before I get ranted over, listen to the latest vs podcast, get some data, and rethink about your arguments.
There might be nerfs needed nonetheless. But claiming that the meta is boring and only 3 decks is wrong. Actually all classes have a viable deck (aggro priest is one of the best decks in both formats).

Love how some people keep saying "you keep doing this every expansion", nope like I said its the first time.

Screw this meta and anyone playing demon seed warlock eat a big bag of decks.

And i don’t even play Paladins
agreed and the matchmaking system is broken as hell. playing like 8 warlocks in a row...
if you craft the cards to make the warlock deck it may stop matching you against it.

It’s a shit meta…. And the game has gone downhill. Hearthstone is trash sadly accept it.
