Yeah it's a good stategy, but with my experience, they figure out what's going on pretty quickly and discover face freezing spells. From that point you can't do anything again.
Working like a charm so far against Quest Mage and Quest Warlock. It's pretty good against Quest Hunter if they don't high roll you.
I got destroyed for 60 damage in one turn by Garrote Rogue.
It likely gets destroyed by initiative based minion decks (since you lack removal) but you can hopefully dodge these on ladder as they are the type of decks getting destroyed by Quest Mage, Quest Warlock, etc.
It’s not 100%. If they rng those little stealth spell damage guys it’s hard to deal with them because druid doesn’t have a way to kill them and it causes all sorts of issues for you throughout the game. Quest druid is good but it has a serious weakness to taunt minions.

The only deck right now I’d truly say is problematic is the OTK rogue quest. I’ve only seen it once and the guy came up short because I pressured him too much, but it looks like it can be done really early.
I just wish mage players would do something other than no minion mage. It’s just so damn boring to see every mage doing the same thing day 2 of an expansion. They’re no better than the face hunters and aggro shamans running no new cards.

What would you like mages to do? They just released a quest for every class, and mages quest is to cast 9 spells, 3 of each mage school. We only get 30 cards to play with. If 1/3 of your deck has to be spells in order to get the quest reward of ... making your spells better ... hmm maybe we should only use like 12 spells then make the rest minions. That way cards like spring water and the like are truly used to their best potential .
Don't blame the player here, blame blizzard for forcing certain archetypes.

You literally faced the deck once and beat it, and you think it's a problem. Great feedback, just great.
Also I'm playing spell mage and I'm definitely playing new cards, and I just don't give a damn if you think this is boring, why would I play minions if the deck works better without them ? Tried with minions, it was weak, quest took longer to complete, it just wasn't worth it. You are essentially asking mage players to not ever refine their deck and stick with day one theorycrap decks or some shit blizzard recipe so you can enjoy ladder a little more. Sorry not sorry but no. What are you playing that makes you so much better than face hunters and aggro shamans ?

Rogue is going under the radar for being busted right now, since Mage is getting all the attention. They aren't even quest rogues, just Auctioneer/Garrote combos with Octobot. Funny that Auctioneer is playing a big part in the meta again lol (also seeing play in fatigue warlock).

I played against it once. Doesn’t mean I haven’t heard the busted shit it can do, this deck has been mentioned a lot on the boards, regularly killing people by turn 6/7 as an uninteractive combo. Learn to read between the lines. Also the quest is easy to fit in with minions, and arguably could be better especially with the candle elemental can just let you cycle your ignites over and over, and Antonidas dealing 18 damage on his own. Everyone just got lazy and watched streamers talk about how busted no minion mage is. I’m not convinced that’s the best version, it was just the easiest to make because the deck already existed
I don't recall ever losing to the deck as Quest Warlock, Quest Mage felt like a free win with the ability to fully heal repeatedly. Generally you have to keep killing your own minions to delay their quest completion.

On hsreplay Quest Mage vs. Quest Warlock is highly favourable for Mage (67%). A good Mage player will kill you in one turn and not burn you so that you can heal. You can try to delay the Quest completion, but that will not always work.

I saw that as well, but I have no idea why the numbers are so high.
Mage quest was the one only quest I opened, so Ive tried a lot of different decks with it. I beat some Warlocks, but in most games they just didnt play any minion until they got enough card draw together and finished their quest.
Same thing with Druid or Rogue, so I dont think Mage can keep the top position for too long, unless you really dont need any minion-hitting spells anymore in the deck.
Guff Druid really isn't a good deck at all. Way too much of a one trick pony and if you're facing any class at all with the ability to throw a taunt down then that's pretty much all she wrote for your momentum.
Tired of OP quest mage that has already 65% winrate?
Play quest Druid and only go face, it's 100% win.
I invite all you guys to play it and make mage players uninstall. GOOD LUCK
May I have your deck?

Their face freezing spells cost 8 mana.
LOL you think Mage is the problem this xpac...

I just want to be able to play minions again ffs...
Welcome to day 3 of the x-pac, where the bitching actually is now on day 2!
