it blows my mind how unbalanced the meta is. Mage is so op and fast. Im not going to enjoy Hearthstone much this coming year. Hunter Warlock and Mage Shaman all have amazing decks. Too good. Unbalanced.
Ignite is also pure bullshit. It allows them to have infinite cards / damage.
You know what really pisses me off? That the Auctioneer is back in so many decks. The game feels similar - but worse - to past stupid metas where a player could draw their entire deck using that card and finish off an opponent. The game should feel new each expansion. Yet this feels like I'm reliving a nightmare, except now it's even worse.
They should never have put Auctioneer in the core set. What a dumb decision.
Mage is Blizz's favorite class for some reason.... Mage already ruined Wild with Secret and Flamewaker decks, now this same class is also ruining Standard....
Absolutely unstoppable, Draw 6 Cards for 2 Mana, Cost reduction, Face Damage as fuck, 2 Mana Deal 7 Damage. Deck cycle like Jesus
I mean, Shadow Priest is just A F*CKING JOKE, 2 mana Deal 2 Damage Face. OK Blizzard.
There are several decks that require horribly bad draws to allow their opponent to survive till turn 8. Not that worried about Mage.

Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.
I wrote it in the warlock thread: if day one people claim 4-5 different decks are broken, they are a) probably wrong because it’s only 1 day and b) if 5 decks are op, none of them is - the general powerlevel changed. Fine with me. I wouldn’t have played this game for so many years if there was no power creep. The game feels different every year because new „unfair“ stuff is released.

Try Legends of Runeterra or Gwent, there is almost no powercreep and they always feel fresh. Probably because the developers are not pussies like Blizzard and actually change many cards regularly instead of "nerfing" 1-2 cards once in two months and calling it "huge balance changes".

That's funny because whenever I go read runeterra fora there's literally always people whining about something. Strange how that is always the case, regardless of the game.
Been playing questline warrior with kresh, alex and saurfang at the top end. It's been working okay against mage.
Also threw in a Mutanus as well. Sometimes it works, it really shuts them down after that if you hit the goods. Course, nothing you can do if they finish the quest before turn 7...

Well honestly I have never been on any LoR forum and I play the game very casually, but in terms of balance I believe it's much better than Hearthstone. There are whiners in every game, I always find it half-funny half-irritating how people even whine about single player games, because they can't beat a boss or smth. I guess some players just don't see the difference between the game being too difficult and them being simply too bad at it.
This expansion is really nice but to fast.Nerf the quest probably dont change this speed killer game. The problem of game is draw both mage and warlock have insane draw ,and rogue follow him,30 health for hero is a weakness now.The 10 mana cost cards are not worth anymore they never compete with 5-8 cards played in one turn.
Anyway there are already decks who counter mage ,I am playing warlock quest but with minions is more like zoolock and is doing well against mage and not only but again i am very dissaponted about the new speed of game wich is very fast game.
I don't know If It's OP because It's too soon to know that yet... But clearly It's just UNFUN to play against If you are playing decks like Rush Warrior or Handbuff Paladin (decks based on having minions on the board basically). Literally the board is always frozen and you can only watch your oponnent doing things like they are playing the solitaire.

I just easily beat a Quest Mage and Quest Warlock by playing Quest Druid. I think I'll stick with it for a while so I don't go insane lol .
Another kid crying ,keep crying while I finish my quest

- 2 x Cult Neophyte
- 2 x Robes of Protection
- 2 x Ogremancer
Pathetic to Tech against a single pathetic deck, and these cards probably don't even matter...

Just play the new miracle rogue it's like mage but even faster OTK on turn 5-6, and why does no one talk about that ?
This sucks.
Suddenly I feel like I really have been lucky getting Druid Quest from some duel pack.
I might lack some cards yet, but seems like I'll be biting some faces this expansion.

It's working for me so far! Feels pretty good against Quest Mage & Warlock and decent against Quest Hunter.

Quest mage has a 49% wr in legend. If that's OP then wow, your standards for OP-ness are pathetic

I am glad we got a new fresh meta, and I don't have to face a Spell Mage every match, like I did at the beggining of Forged in Barrens
oh wait

Funny enough handbuff paladin is one of the decks that counters quest mage quite decently...
