I played a few games of Control Quest Warrior, after I lost to the deck twice on my Quest Hunter I was playing earlier.
Lost to Quest Warlock. Once they hit fatigue they started doing oodles of damage. They ended up with an empty deck and an almost empty hand and I might have beaten them in a turn or maybe 2, but I took 8 fatigue damage at the end, and I just couldn;t quite armor through it anymore.
Lost to Quest Mage. I had a pretty tempo-y start, so it;s not like I was just slow playing it, but they still finished their quest faster than me and noce they get the bonus spellpower I just died in 2 turns. I got them to 10-ish health, but it might as well have been 60 cause there was no way I could have killed them before they killed me.
Lost to Quest Priest. Long game. Tried to pressure them so they couldn;t just breeze through their quest steps but had to heal and do other things. Ended up full health and somehow 64 armor. Had them down to 1 health at the end, but I already knew they had drawn the Purified Shard. Dead.
So yeah, from my very limited experience it seems like Quest Control Warrior is competitive for most of the game, but lacks the finisher. The Juggernaut quest reward sure as shit isn't the finisher that closes out games, like for most other classes. It's just kind of there and ruins any weapons you might want to play.
I've given up on playing the deck for now. 3 long games with annoying losses is about all I can stand on a fun night where there's other decks to try.

Really? What did you play? I only got the quest finished once in ~10 games and won once but not thanks to the quest.
Was playing Lothraxion/Quest Paladin. The priest had every taunt minion in standard in his deck, and every AOE clear. Perfect counter to dude paladin, but I don't think it would work against other decks - just a good match up for him
Control warrior without the quest & quest priest seem to be doing pretty well. I happen to find both of those decks lots of fun. Most of the decks that looked problematic at first don’t seem too bad at the moment. Quest warlock & quest hunter specifically. I’ve actually had a good time trying to strategize against both, & neither seem oppressive at all. Granted, its only day one, & nothing is refined. Either way, I’m actually having fun playing the game today…which is not something that I can say about a new expansion release in quite awhile.
Fuck this game really everyone is playing fucking aggro with infinite dmg and draw what the fuck did blizzard do to this game. It just doesnt matter that you heal for fucking 60hp in a game the opponent has 2 mana deal 8 and other bullshit cards. Fuck this really fuck this shit I am out.
Gotta luv those Day 1 Face Hunters who genuinely hate HS and its community, just trying to suck out the Fun. Heh, good thing they run into another Day 1 Asshole (me) overwhelming them with cold Ass DR DH.

You know what’s satisfying against face hunters? Bonk druid. Watching their health melt away while you’ve got like 40 armor is satisfying as hell
Control is going to be in a weird place for a few weeks. There are a handful of aggro decks that absolutely do not care about the board. Hell some of them don't even need minions...

Quest control priest is great just lost to one. Would do well vs. most things except tickatus or spell mages

It’s day one, chill out.

EDIT: I was wrong lol.

Also control tends to lose to value and the quest rewards are very high value! Unless someone pulls off quest control priest consistently
