They also are probably having things overblown. The woman who killed herself sounded like you can’t blame mental instability on blizzard.
If you read up on that, you do know that on the field trip day said person commited, her main harasser carried a butt plug and lube with him, right? Imagine that happening at your workplace. Even mentally unstable (was she even?) ppl don't commit "just like that". I've read up some stories of employees myself and apparently she was constantly harassed by others aswell. Passing around nudes of an employee (I believe even THAT employee) at a company christmas party? Sheesh. And as far as I read up about Blizzards HR, even victim blaming was at place there. The deeper you dive into that matter, the more vile this workplace seems to get. And a 2 year investigation of such a big and mighty company from a state, followed by an actual (and big) accusation, is no small feat.
If you care more about hearthstone than this lawsuit, you are part of the problem.
Nice virtue signal you've got there! But why are you still here and why do you still play Hearthstone after how they handled the Hong Kong controversy? Uh-oh, looks like you're part of the problem, too! 😏
Same goes for those streamers btw. - fake outrage for brownie points which will be forgotten in a month or so. Watch them stream Hearthstone again, I hear Kibler is back after a week.

Yea omg they are so brave to shed spotlight on themselves. If you actually assist rape you just help a friend out. but if you care more about hearthstone then this lawsuit you are definitely a rapist xDDDD

You might tell me how I can see how many liked that post of yours?
No. It’s perfectly fine if I decide that I am not interested in a lawsuit in California. I am living in Germany. There is discrimination here too, and there are cases of sexism / racism about Whitch I care. A small hint: they happen here, where I can change things by voting or protesting. No one can tell me that I have to be interested in this thing or else I am a bad person. I am not interested in it, I like the game, so I am interested in the cards. I am fine with the streamers actions and am far away from calling them hypocrites because they don’t want to destroy their whole livelihood. I do care about women’s rights, I support the Green Party and the social Democrats here in Germany, with the former always having a woman on first place of their list and on the 3./5./... (our voting system is different). I go to protests against inequality. I don’t need some kid telling me here that I am part of the problem, because guess what - everybody is. I do something for women’s rights by voting and discussing with people about the society and it’s problems as a whole. Not by ranting about a video game company in a video game forum. I play the game for fun, I am not interested in the company producing it. I come to this forum for the game not for a political debate.
I don't care about any of those i just want cards man
I can say with 100% certainty that anyone up voting this comment is a white male, like me.
It's very hard to do, but I encourage anyone reading this to really imagine experiencing something like harassment or racism, and then you can be just a little bit less selfish, for the betterment of all.
This shit doesn't get deleted? My white privilege never seems to work. I deserve over 9000 booster and likes

There was comment about that gaming industry or spending free time on games is more of a "male" thing, it got busted pretty fast.

I woke up this morning to discover that there are bad people in the world. And they do bad things as long as they don't get caught. And if they get caught they will deny ever doing it.
If everyone was to actually boycott this company and stop spending money on them, they would just fire all the actual hardworking people (who probably did not do anything wrong) to cut costs. Is that really the answer?
Internet, please, tell me what I should think - I can't make decisions on my own.
Dude we buy clothes made by slave childs, petrol from warzones but we outrage because some girl accused someone to being sexist and not promote her over another dude.
I am a fucking blizzard customer from Japan I dont give a fuck about their internal shit as a company.
So your justification is that if there is some way to actually fucking make companies accountable for the actions, we ignore it. You are a wonderful representation of the human race.
No, my point is that we dont a give a shit if the petrol cames from a warzones and people dies for petrol, but we should give a fuck for a girl who said she was harrassed, come on. In any case I dont care, in Japan women at companies are treated worse and no one gives a fuck, look how many PS5 are selling in US and there is no drama about women harrassment in Japan.
It's statements like this that make me hope that people like you don't have offspring.
I think everybody is entitled to their reaction to this (Blizzard, streamers, gamers etc.), however 'guided' or misguided. Truth is, not a single one of us was there and witnessed anything. Then again, there is usually no smoke without fire. I don't live in the US but my impression is that people sue each other over there over absolutely everything and anything imaginable. This is why we have rule of law and investigation was done for a reason - to find out the truth. None of us is judge or jury so let's wait for the result and then have some certainty in our judgments. There will be hard working victims on both sides of the conflict and that is the real truth: bad workplace behaviour spoils everything for everyone, there are no winners, only losers.
In the case of the woman committing suicide because her male colleague brought butt plugs with him to a business trip, I can't help but feel that there is a whole load of information missing for this story to make any sense. I have admittedly not looked into it but noticed it being brought up here and used in arguments and that doesn't feel right (nor respectful to anyone who was involved in it).
Obviously, the only solution to a workplace problem is change. I don't think anyone really wants Blizz to go down. There are people like us working there, too, with families etc. And they deserve to have a safe workplace and if a lawsuit is the only way to get it, so be it. But, it's too early to say what the true extent of the issue was and hence, all our reactions now are premature (even though we are perfectly entitled to them).
I'd say if you are unsure continue enjoying HS and supporting Blizz until there is certainty in the matter - and then decide. If you are already certain, I think you know what to do.
We cant do anything about this , except maybe boycut their merchandise, do you wanna stop hearthstone, overwatch , world of warcraft , starcraft or diablo ? i doubt 5 % of blizzards players are gonna stop playing this. so how about we let the court settle this, and try and remember not 100 % of blizzard is deviants, maybe its 3 %, should we throw the 97 % hard working family people to the curb because maybe 10 ppl of this multibillion dollar did something wrong ? when you point at someone remember to check everything b4 you form an angry mob. you DONT know all the facts, you DONT know how much is truth.
To summ up , let the court handle it, unless you are prepared to quit all of blizzards games, you have 0 say.
Now if they stop playing Hearthstone completely and stop profiting on it, they have my utmost respect.
If they continue playing this game they are just low two-faced hypocrites...
So if these streamers (who don't know you) essentially quit their jobs they will have your respect; however, if they don't then they are hypocrites. I say you put your money where your mouth is and you cut off your major source of revenue first and if you can't bring yourself to doing that then YOU are the hypocrite my friend.

This is yet another time where you want to quit, then consider the $9k you’ve wasted on this game, and feel trapped.
Take a walk on the wild side...

Did you delete your hearthstone account already ? Because if you say shit like this and don't delete it, THIS is fucked up.
