Current Nozdormu is EPIC BAD, i have 2 options to balance it:
1) Make it more tempo as Paladin's Nozdormu: like 2 mana 3/3 with current time reducing effect.
2) Reconsider current effect and change it to: "Reduce time given to make a turn by 37.5 seconds (minimum 15 seconds)". As a result, 2 nozdormu players matching each other will have 15 seconds for each turn (90 - 37.5*2 = 15), one nozdormu player will reduce turn time to 37.5 (52.5 as result). Or something like this.
I played 3 games, got one against a priest who was also actually using him. He couldn't cope and crumbled under the discovers all priests run these days.
Anyway, it was underwhelming. bring back old Noz where he can be transformed into or whatever and just appear out of nowhere, that was cool. This new Zoomer-Consent Noz sucks. Even when it goes off...big whoop.

It should be epic bad, definitely worse than any card you cut for it. Players who don't want to participate in this "play cards non-stop" fiesta should not suffer from it. 52,5 seconds is absolutely not enough for me, unless I'm super experienced with the deck so I can autopilot it, but even then sometimes some new situations still emerge where I would like to think for a minute. It's a strategy, turn-based game. Time and APM should not be a factor in determining who wins, so everything APM-heavy should be meme or not exist. Think about mobile users. We have this issue in BGs already, where faster players have an advantage and it has caused many players to play less or use intentional disconnects, mobile players basically can't play on the same level as PC players at all, and that's not how things should work.

Players will use Nozdormu even less that way. I'm fine with playing with it in casual, but no way I would go lose my MMR/legend rank and risk ending with 10-star bonus instead of 11-star bonus new month because of possible 3 extra losses. I would rather reroll such quest.

That's too bad that people who did want to get Noz didn't get opponents with it, and the ones who didn't want to get them, get them. I think the best implementation would be checkbox in options, so we don't even need Nozdormu card and special day. If two players matched together and they both want faster game, they play faster, otherwise they don't. We can even add similar checkbox for boomers so two boomers can play slower game if they want!

After declaring 15th an official Nozdormu day, realising nobody cares about that because people just want to get quick wins, now we get this quest:
Why not a Nozdormu game mode? Or prioritizing queueing against Noz players. Really I know they go for simplicity, but this just doesn't work.
I wanted a 15 second game timer 6 years ago dude. Nobody who knows how to play the game wants to sit through a ladder climb playing against wizards of smart who can’t think themselves out of a wet paper bag . The problem is that everyone like me would just play that mode and nothing else to do quests. You wouldn’t have a chance on ladder to see a quest deck or achievement deck. Nobody is going to play any mode unless they get something for it. Noz day is the precursor data mining to eventually permanently lowering the turn timer. I15 seconds will cause misplays and disconnects will just cause losses. They need to have real world data so this is what they are doing . Do you think they put this in the game just to do it? You don’t understand Blizzard. I did my noz quest in 10 minutes and only got one 15 second game. I won all three and went back to normal. 15 second timers effectively Kill certain archetypes decks as well. You also have the ability to make a deck around the timer as well. Discover isn’t so good now is it? Make a face deck and profit , it’s pretty simple. So why the issue with the quest? Put in noz and a three times , done…..nothing hard about that.
The truth is, a lot of players are not good at thinking quickly. My one Noz opponent was obviously flustered and making weird mistakes.
Forcing people to do this would be a terrible idea. Granting an optional quest one day per month is fine. If you like short turns, enjoy it when it happens. If you hate longer turns, maybe go play something like Shadowverse. I haven't played that in years, but I do seem to recall people taking fast turns.

You're the kind of person who ropes at Bronze 10 huh?
I went from mostly PC to 98% mobile, I hit Diamond regularly (the only reason I dont hit Legend is because I prefer non constructed modes) and I almost never rope.
There is no reason to rope. If you're roping constantly then you're taking the game way too seriously. There are only a few scenarios in which roping makes sense and they're all late game control scenarios.

Behave will you. It's HS not Crusader Kings 3. Only reason to rope on 99% of occasions is purely BMing and/or mind games. While the timer is set as it is I've got no problem with people roping though, but even if they only cut the rope time in half people would have more than enough time to make the most complicated of plays. Only decks that would suffer would be the rare OTK deck that needs to play 50 cards and wait for animations.

didn't run into a single Noz
someone else suggested making it a 31/30 card. I agree with this
they should just create an option you can enable and if your opponent has his/her/theirs/it ( this stuff is getting confusing)
also enabled games should take lesser time.

played the 3 games - 1 out of 3 where Nozdormu 15 second games - suprisingly lost the 1 nozd game and won the 2 non-nozd O_o
mentioned the 31 card special mode for Nozd a while ago but this daily isnt terrible either -
edit. the mode would be 2.5-3x xp to make it work also
lose 3 games quest.

played ranked 3 games with Nozdormu*
If '15 second turns' was an actual game mode I would play nothing else. When you actually get a Noz game it's a lot of fun.

well i dont care about ladder/ranked until april so no worries here.
Played 5 games and not a single other person was playing with Nozdormu in their deck. Kill me
Well, I put him in my deck. Didn't match with anyone else using him. :(
I even played him onto the board.
He should have rush. Then we're talking about a useful card.
