The archetype has been top tier for awhile but it's not THAT strong. Darkglare, mozaki, reno priest, res priest, reno sham, pirate warrior, etc. are all just as strong and some are arguably stronger.
If anything, Id suggest focusing on more "universal" problematic cards for the mage class itself. Such guilty cards include Sorc apprentice. Not used in secret mage but it's still a huge problem. For mage NO spells should really cost 0 mana with the insane amount of burst burn the class has available, especially in wild.
The common suggestion is to nerf Apprentice so it can't reduce a spell's cost below 1 mana, which I think would probably suffice. NErfing it to 3 or 4 mana cost wouldn't hurt my feelings either but I'd settle for limiting its spell cost reduction.
Flamewaker's another problem for wild. But that's an easier fix. All they have to do for him is switch his ability to hit random enemy minions instead of being able to ping face.
I agree that playing against secret mage is a pain in the ass but at the end of the day at that point its not the deck you hate playing against it's the whole Aggro style of game play itself. At this point simply teching against aggro styles would help this specific cause DRAMATICALLY. I play pure pally, and teched my deck against aggro. Now my deck basically feeds win off these secret mage guys. It's also great against face hunters and pirate warriors.
I dont think its broken either. Its just very unenjoyable to play against and it really FEELS unfair with all their 0 cost secrets + synergy cards that benefit from that.
It’s healthy for the format. Keeps greed and otk in check. No need to nerf it. Do you want a mozaki meta? And if you want to nerf it, then nerf flakmage. That’s the only unfair card.
and the guy wanting to nerf Waker: the card saw zero play before rsw and sees zero play after rsw nerf. So why nerf a bad card?

Curious that the only mage decks you want effectively deleted (because that's what'd happen to mozaki mage with that apprentice nerf - no idea why you want flamewanker nerfed tho since the deck is currently garbage) are decks that have a 70%+wr against your deck of choice, eh?
If it were a Standard deck I would fully agree with you, but no way Secret Mage is overpowered in comparison to other much more crazy Wild decks out there.
C'mon people, we all know Kirin Tor Mage as a 3 mana 4/3 is simply stupid.
Add to that 0 mana 5/5s and counterspells and other things secret mage has, makes it stupidly strong.
And it's been dominating for literally 5 years.
Can we get some push for it?

make the Medivh's Valet on deal 2 damage or minions only, same with Cloud Prince, make it 4 or minions only.

As always the problem is the cost reduction to 0 mana. It‘s simply unfair. It would be enough to make a secret cost 1 mana.
But tbh they should just code a rule that no card can get reduced to 0 mana because this is always the problem.

Secret Mage is great but it can lose to many meta wild decks and many non meta ones. It's just tempo mage. Nothing about it broken

It's funny because people REFUSE to put secret eater their decks and then come forums to cry nerfs... my win rate vs mage is like 80%
