Hello all! I'm needing some help please I've never made it to Legend and diamond 3 is the best I've ever done but I can't rank up I always get to 3 stars and start losing its not my decks I don't think it's my skill anyway any advice would be Appreciated
Its 100% luck at this stage, really even before that. You either draw what you need or you dont. Nothing you can do. Roll dice, hope for the matchup wheel to bless you. Hat to break it to ya..... but thats the truth.

Best thing is: its very cheap. but be aware of reno decks there.

I second this. Up until Diamond 5, you're dealing with people who might not be seriously going for legend and you have the benefit of extra bonus stars for a good chunk/most of the ladder. Once you hit 5, be prepared to spend a lot of time bouncing between Diamond 4 and Diamond 2. At that point, you just have to put in the hours and hope that RNG favors you.
Also: Don't listen to anyone telling you to play wild vs. standard. Play what you have fun playing or what you can afford to play. You're the only one that gets to decide what's fun for you.
Guys, luck is obviously involved but it isn't just luck. You just need to grind it out and keep going. If you get tilted stop playing. Don't concede even if it feels like the match has gone as you can often still win. And don't swap around with your decks - pick one (probably face hunter) and stick with it until you hit legend.
I've been where you are bud and you will defo get there as long as you stay consistent.
If you've never reached legend before two factors probably need to be considered, though one you tend to rule out. The first one is obviously the skill, after D5 it becomes much more important to optimize the plays and understand how to win MUs. Since the skill is not purely independent of the meta and the decks used you should take only one deck to make the climb, so as to increase your chances and improve quickly. At the limit, if you see that you have difficulty against a specific deck popular in ladder, try to adapt your deck to the MU.
The second factor is very subjective but always present at the first climb to legend: stress. Try to relax and take 5 minutes after each defeat, even if only to understand if it was a winnable game and if you made some choices that turned out to be wrong. It’s very important.
Other: play from pc, so you can have the tracker, which is useful both for the game and to understand which MUs are tough and to what extent, as well as having a few more seconds to think. If you already do you can share your stats here which can help help you out.
Unfortunately as a priest player I don't have direct knowledge of your decks so I can't advise you more specifically.
Said that, there are two philosophies for climbing, there are those who prefer fast games to reduce the playing time, even at the expense of winrate and those who, like me, prefer slow decks but on which they have more control.
This season for example I played decks for achievements up to D5, with bad winrate. Once I got to D5 I took my favorite deck, menagerie priest, and I adapted it a bit to my micro-meta and to my tastes. Even though it's one of the slowest decks it only took me 22 games to go from D5 to Legend. 18 wins and 4 losses, which translates to just over 4 hours of play.
I appreciate all yalls advice I'm still at diamond 3 lol but one thing I've been doing wrong is switching up decks when I lose a couple times with demon hunter I'll switch to face hunter and so forth so I'm gonna pick a deck and just stick with it if I had the choice I would prefer to hit legend using paladin its my favorite class and only gold class I have I only play standard because wild format seems OP anyway I guess since pally isn't as good anymore I'll just stick with the deathrattle demon hunter if anyone would like to suggest a version of there deck I will try it out I'm ashamed to say that I got straight to hsreplay and get my decks off there I'm not good at building my own anyway thanks again guys I really appreciate all yalls input
its your skills... if you can get to diamond 3... then your skill is already legend capable...
i am not those ppl that get legend every month.. my skill is not that good..
but this month i managed legend with just deathrattle hunter... and stick to it for the whole climb... total about 35W-21L...
pick the deck with 2 cultist and 2 eye beams... too many aggro in ladder... aggro shaman and face hunter... need lots of healing...
and like what others say.. you need to know the matchup pretty well, what is the opponent next turn that will rekt you... maybe don't overcommit so much... deathrattle hunter is midrange deck... and sometime i equip weapon without hitting face before turn 8 to have a chance that i draw inquisitor in turn 8 and that is potential game winning...
and i know the stress, especially the first time player that never hit legend... even this month, i also have some stress while climbing to legend... and also take a bit more time to think it over before playing a turn... many times there is actually a better play out there... and every game count as there is no bonus star...

Standard still is bs and wild is easy to get legend, just a tip.
The main key to getting to legend is consistency if you stay consistent over and over and over you’ll eventually reach legend. Also not swapping around decks every time you lose or get frustrated rather play 1 deck you see a lot of success with and stick with that take short breaks when you feel frustrated.
Also it is definitely skill based and not bad luck you are more than likely making minor mistakes here and there that might go unnoticed since the result of x action show up much later than immediately after. If you really are dedicated and no matter how long you play you can’t see to break through then your deserved rank is rank 3. I would recommend getting a coach if you are really serious.

One important advice, dont switch between decks at all, when you go for legend.
You can play anything you want up until d5 but then you need one dedicated Deck for the "final" push to legend.
There are multible reasons why this is the best strat, one is matchup odds. Another one is focus/flow.
What you can do, if your Deck has the room for it, alter cards depending on the pocket meta that you face.
Out of your Deck selection I'd go with demon hunter, though all 4 are legend Material.

Btw my worst MU (0-2) was Face Hunter ;)
Have fun and keep calm :)
Sorry for my broken english.
With deathrattle DH should be enough for reaching leyend, obviously not the nzoth version(sucks) since the buffs ive got like a 70% wr with it

I lurked close to diamond. Then I played secret mage in wild and got legend in 4 hours very easy
Of course you do all wrong - you don't play Shaman/Druid.
How do I make a new thread? Can’t find the answer anywhere
