For the first time, I played a few games at top 1000 wild - no bm emotes at all, two players even said "well played" when it was obvious that they lost (one of them was a priest!). Kinda sad that I am positively surprised about the fact that my fellow players simply behaved in a civilized way...
You just don't see it when you lose and you will take ANY emote at ANY time as BM.
The nerve of some people emoting "well played" when they win... they obviously think they're better than me. It's BM.
And the guy who was like, "hello!" at the start of the game. They obviously think they're better than me. What a jerk!
And the absolute turd wrangler that emotes "wow" when something super RNG happened in my favour! You think I didn't plan that!? You obviously don't know me, kid!
In order to balance things, I'm now going to go intentionally rope everyone I play against today. That's the only way to fix this.
I would pay E1.000 for an emote that says 'You are Pathetic'.
That's how I feel about 99% of you and you deserve itT
There is only one player with excellent skills, ethics, smarts, honor and bravour... Which is me of course, I always play the relevant class and decks
I've got good news for you.
The new warlock skin "Nemesis Gul'dan" has a threat emote where he says, "Your mind... so feeble!"
And honestly, that's gotta be one of the most personally frustrating emotes to hear, especially if you're behind. Unless of course your mind is not feeble or you squelched him already.
But on topic, I'm glad some of humanity is being nice to each other. If people are intentionally being rude online while playing a game, that says more about them than anything.
Kind of similar in every online game. Most of the times even when I genuinely want to praise my teammates/opponents they get angry at me thinking I was sarcastic. It sometimes makes me really confused, but it just shows how toxic multiplayer games' community is in general.
If the emotes of some random dude (or sometimes girl) on the Internet trigger you that much, you probably have much bigger problems tbh.
I have done all kinds of emoting in HS, but I am not doing it to be mean. I make fun of myself, a certain situation, and sometimes your obvious misplays. That's why I like Tyrande's Brilliant! emote, it sounds too sarcastic. But I still respect you as a player (even if you play face hunter in high legend).
I also don't see why people who lose a game can't accept the Well Played emote. To me, it's just another way to say gg and I often even mean it when you actually played well imo.

Legend tends to be more chill in my experience. At least until you get to high legend and people are super sweaty
Yeah people get less salty once they're on legend. And it can get really salty again at like top 200-300.
Most opponents behave nicely, there is no surprise really. You just don't see it when you lose and you will take ANY emote at ANY time as BM.
