Reno is not even one of the best cards in the format. Most of the time you play him and die to the backswing. Furthermore, Reno decks are at least control decks, which are seldom enough in wild already. The stealer combo wasn’t as broken as many think, but still nerf-worthy because it wrapped the game to aggro and stealer. I would have preferred a nerf to immune (wouldn’t affect standard), so that paying life instead of mana would still damage you. and the op clearly doesn’t understand blizzards intentions: there will be no bans on any cards except newly released cards that break wild but aren’t op in standard. There is no reason to ban a wild card, you can simply nerf it. Stealer was only banned to not kill it in standard by nerfing it for wild.
May not change your opinion, but the thought is not simply to ban cards I hate. In my opinion, Reno is by far the most broken card in the game. Fully resetting health erases everything that took place prior, and fundamentally changes the game in a negative manner. I didn't frankly see anywhere near the same level of problem with Stealer of Souls. Seems similar to many other combo OTK decks. At least it takes stringing together a combo, Reno is 1 card that wields similar power completely by itself.
Reno absolutely does not reset everything that took place prior lol. This statement alone tarnishes your credibility. It literally just resets health. It has no effect on: Card advantage, tempo, mana/turn, otk combos, etc. This statement is just ridiculous.

And some decks can manage to have more than 1 copy of it along aside with many other bullshit cards with unique overpowered level.
No, dude. The biggest problem in the game right now is Taunt. I keep pointing my cards at my opponent's face and they keep playing these damn Taunt minions. My minions on board have to target them! Unbelievably broken. If we're banning cards, ban every Taunt minion. Until then, however I guess I'll just keep auto-conceding whenever my opponent plays cards with the most broken keyword in the game.
Saw a note that Stealer of Souls is being banned from wild. With the precedent set, would love to see Reno banned. Hate that card 10x more than Stealer of Souls. Anyone else?
You know, it's stupid ass posts like this that make me wish that negative votes were allowed on the forums to just showcase how goddamn stupid this assertion is. Fact of the matter, even copying Reno Jackson is not even close to the unpardonable shit that was allowed in Wild, like the Tier S Hysteria decks, Snip Snap lock and Giantslock. If you want something that is somewhere close to your abilities, then go play the sad excuse of a game known as MTG Arena where the developers often have to ban at least five cards every two months because they don't have a fucking idea what game balance is.

Considering that Aggro rules in wild, it's ironic that you want to nerf Reno

As well they should since reno decks are the only thing that can withstand aggro shite on ladder, unless you want to sleep your day away playing odd warrior.
- Reno comes with a condition where you cannot have the same two strong cards in a deck. This limits deckbuilding and in extent, the power level of the whole deck.
- Reno is a defensive card and not a win condition. Cards are generally broken where its a win condition that cannot be sopped.
Stealer of Souls once you get the combo going there is no response...I believe there's only like a few secrets that can actually fuck it up Oh My Yogg!, Explosive Runes, Potion of Polymorph, Counterspelland I think Pressure Plate but that involves you A. Having said secret in your deck (of those Oh My Yogg! is the only one that is actually played. Otherwise 9 times out of 10 you CAN'T respond you just have to watch helplessly as you die. This is like the old Butterfly Dagger Elma decks from back in the day.
Reno on the otherhand for a lot of situations IS the response...and these days barely a good one.
Blizzard opened the flood gates of stupidity when they banned the first card in wild. Now for every strong card there will be someone wanting it banned while completely missing the point of banning. The only reason Stealer of Souls was banned instead of nerfed is ...
... is because they are the laziest and stupidest game developers of the entire world!
Instead of taking the bull by the horns and solving the root problem (cost-cheating shenanigans), they prefer to hide their shame (as they themselves created a card that anyone with some intelligence, common sense and basic knowledge of the game would see the problems it would create) under the rug, destroying the premise of one of the game modes (Wild: "You can play with any card you have in your collection") in the process.

People like OP is why I actually play Reno decks.

Agree 1000% on this one.
Ban this shit 4ever

Yes, let's remove all anti aggro tools, so that HS turns into 100% aggro vs aggro matches. So much fun to be had!
Dude, Reno is NOWHERE NEAR the annoyance of that damn Stealer.
Almost 6 years in the game, father of a few archetypes... if he would be a problem I AM SURE he would be banned few months ago.
So chill the f**k up.

BTW I do not play him.

and here we go
It's called standard now...

I know right? We all knew Blizzard opened pandora's box when they introduced banning of cards.
For OP, Reno Jackson is nowhere near broken:
- There are numerous counters to Reno, such as Dirty Rat, Bad Luck Albatross, Psychic Scream, etc.
- Reno does nothing against OTK decks such as Mecha'thun, Malygos, Uther of the Ebon Blade, etc.
- Reno comes with a condition where you cannot have the same two strong cards in a deck. This limits deckbuilding and in extent, the power level of the whole deck.
- Reno is a defensive card and not a win condition. Cards are generally broken where its a win condition that cannot be sopped.
You aren't a clown, you are the entire circus.
- Activision Blizzard (aka small indie company)
Well the big difference is as follows
Stealer of Souls once you get the combo going there is no response...I believe there's only like a few secrets that can actually fuck it up Oh My Yogg!, Explosive Runes, Potion of Polymorph, Counterspelland I think Pressure Plate but that involves you A.
