I take issue with the idea of class balance being what defines whether a meta is healthy or not. Tossing a coin is perfectly balanced 50/50...doesn't mean it is a fun activity. Gameplay Is what I feel defines a meta to me, and right now, I'd say it's below average for hearthstone, too many blatant power house cards that cost too little for what they do, and too much aggro.
Face Hunter is not the best deck, not even close. It is exactly where it was a week ago, didn't get anything in the miniset, beats what it used to beat before and loses to what it used to lose before and the only reason it has a temporarily inflated win rate is that it excels at punishingunoptimized experimental decks, which is what many people are playing in the first 1-2 days after the new miniset
The only reason why Face Hunter and Spell Druid are the only tier 1 decks in the past 24 hours is because they beat the deck that rose as the strongest after the miniset: Deathrattle DH. It's a temporary adjustment.
I honestly don’t know why people buy decks and craft cards.
Aggro hunter, cheapest deck ever, consistently tier 1 / 2 for 3 years… blizzard want to keep F2P happy but they don’t realise they are losing people who were willing to buy decks as this is beyond joke
Shaman is in good place ? What archetype is that coz i ve seen none on ladder yet.
Elemental shaman is one classes of the I play and it's a blast to play this deck, easy D5 with it. I have met quite a few Aggro Shaman and had mirror matches quite regularly.
Some of you seem just to rely on their personal experience to judge if the meta is healthy or not. Statistics is the way to go. On Hsreplay and Hearthstone Meta stats you get at least 7 classes out of 10 having decks with decent win rates enabling them to reach Legend.
That has nothing to do with how frequently you are matched with certain decks, it's more a question of the popularity of the decks per rank.
The fact that 7 classes out of 10 are in the top decks is good and can be qualified as diverse. You can argue about aggro vs control decks that's another question.
Imho they (blizzard) should strive to have an aggro, midrange/tempo, combo, and control deck all represented in the top 6 decks.
Seems like it has been a good minute since we have had a decent combo deck.
Combo decks are dead until Tickatus rotates. I do wish it was possible to play with the more interesting cards in this game. It's a wonder why they even print any when they clearly favor aggro more than any other archetype.

Healthy meta=aggro
Meta before mini set = aggro
Meta for the next 35 expansions =aggro
Yes it looks pretty healthy, either you get killed in turn 5 by hunter, you get killed in turn 6 by shamman
nothing says healthy hs meta like face hunter, again, being the best deck by 5-10%.
Im not being facetious

Healthy meta with Face Hunter being god tier, yeah sure dude.

I know right! Just equip a weapon & attack face each turn. Truly amazing!

this fvcking trash game has no diversity yet again.
Only hunter, demon hunter or weapon/evolve shaman reloaded. stupid face no trade no skill but still success....
The Game designers are so insanely bad. they have no idea what a healthy game should look like.
If the meta is so non diverse why aren't you just making a deck with a bunch of board clears and heals and winning 80% of games?
i actually do. but thats not even close to being enough.
In some games i heal for nearly 100 life and clear every board just to die to the 11th insane board or crazy direct dmg crap.
YAY! FULL AGGRO FACE META! SO HEALTHY! GO BLIZZARD!
VOMIT ALL CARDS WITHOUT A SINGLE THOUGHT AND HIT ENEMY IN THE FACE!!! YAY!
It's really great to play ranked hearthstone these days. Even in high legend there are diverse viable options.
I couldn't detect any sarcasm, am I this bad at this?
You good. No sarcasm here.
