I am currently a big duel player and Have Played everyday for the last few weeks.
However, One BIG issue I can see is Bomb warrior, not down to it being Op or anything, Just down to gameplay feeling.
Playing or playing against the hero power and deck is frustrating. Either your opponents draw the 12 bombs in their deck or you play without a hero power and they draw none. Out of every deck and class in Duels, this hero power is probs the most game swinging or game loosing of them all which feels bad. RNG is one thing, but literally handicapping a whole deck on that hero power which is game winning or game loosing just should not be in already RNG based game mode like Duels.
Anyone else feels like the bomb warrior archetype could be revisited in duels?
FYI: No salt here. I just feel like this deck is one thing putting off some players off duels as it is frequently played and is very polarizing.

Dam dude, I never said remove the archetype, I just said It is a poorly designed thing IMO asked if anyone has a similar view. A simple, "I think it is a fine" would have been a sensible answer instead of being aggressive. It is not salt. I am just asking a question if anyone feels like bombs in duels is too much at times in one way or the other. Yeah Rng is mixed and I get there is alot in duels with treasures and passives. But taking a unpopular mechanic from one expansion and putting it as a stable for one class to high roll of it, is in my opinion not the best idea.
I think bombs works out in the first rounds but when the deck get larger the effect of bombs is diminishing. My experience is that its fun when it works (from warrior prospective) but it is not very successful if your goal is 12 wins.
Bomb Warrior is really good in early duels, once they get armor, it can be tough to find the resources to try to take out the armor once they get the ball rolling, but it can be tough especially in the later games when the decks are much larger for the bombs to have any effect. Biggest counters I've seen are the Infinite Arcane, Machine Gun Priest with Lyra (making your bombs useless with a full hand), or pretty much anything that is hyper aggro.
I think some other classes need some starting treasure and hero power improvements. For one, I'd like to see a change to how the shaman overload hero power works, so that it can actually synergize with the overload buckets that keep getting offered with it (esp. the ones that include Snowfury Giant or the treasure that gives you attack for being overloaded). Maybe make it so "You can't be overloaded more than 1" or "At the start of your turn, free you overloaded mana crystals", I dunno, just spitballing.
The non-deathrattle Hunter hero powers I think could use a boost, too. Not sure what I would do there, though. Maybe make the face damage one less mana? I dunno, I'm just sad that the only hunters I see are of the deathrattle variety.
Back to Shaman: Zukara the Wild: This card pretty much useless in duels for shaman. Make it spells that cost(3) or more maybe. Right now the only shaman spells you can put in a deck that cost 4+ are Hex (I hope you don't hex Zukara!), Dunk Tank (I hope you don't dunk Zukara!), Volcano (I hope you don't Pompeii Zukara!), and Bloodlust (OK, potentially good), and I guess the c'thun pieces. You won't be able to get full value from using her with Runic Carvings, and you can't cast Tidal Wave on the same turn as her without relying on other cards or effects, not that you would anyway.
I think the Embercaster combo with Open the Waygate is super annoying, making you literally unable to even take a turn once they get the combo.
Duels is effing crazy sometimes, and I think that's part of why it's fun, I just think they should balance it and make changes a little more often than they are now. Not necessarily buffs/nerfs, but any deviation from everyone constantly achieving the Battlecry cost (1) less + double battlecry treasure with 100% accuracy would be welcome.
Blizz mentioned some changes to treasure offerings would be coming soon, I wonder when they will have anything to announce?

Its for sure frustrating to lose againt bomb warrior. They got a lot stronger after the treasures mechanic has changed since they now pretty much all just run passive and double battlecries.
But they arent really op.
One thing that can make them feel strong is, that many of the other decks in duels consist of a lot of drawing. This is ofc very practical for bomb warriors:)
I love how everytime there is a thread about duels, some people feel like they need to comment how shit and dead it is. Like if i would sneak around battleground forums just to write everywhere that i dont like it and its sucks n shit lol.
I think duels are great. Sometimes you lose because of super lucky and powerful combos of your opponent. Shit happens. Sometimes you win because of this yourself and its funny. And you think you have an insane deck going 100% for 12 wins just to lose the next games and end.
Its not like in constructed i wouldnt encounter insane turns, where its already clear who wins on turn 2. Sometimes these things just happen. If you know what you play and what you play against, in the long run it pays of.

Bombs are a win condition that is different from most wincons. IMO games like HS need a big variety in wincons, so bombs are fine.
