You can run a deck with a small number of Elementals so that not only is it card draw, but also a tutor. Perhaps you can do the same with spells, but i cba to research that right now.
If a non-aggro Shaman deck becomes viable, this will be an important inclusion.
Even in certain aggro variants, you can run Portal + Lightning Bolt for finishers and then just Imprisoned Phoenix or Marshspawn or just some other generally good elementals. (Fire Elemental, Earth Elemental, Shattered Rumbler)
I think people are sleeping on how strong +1 is with a body. Like this does not impact your deckbuilding that much, and is basically a better Elven Minstrel in a lot of respects if it procs.
Poodle are missing you don't have to play a lot of elementals in your deck with this card. Most likely the one game winning combo card will be the only one you are looking for. So the fact you can almost guarantee a certain card in your hand is always broken. Now we just have to find that broken combo

Been scrolling too long looking for this. This fella understands. A lot of people are scrambling their brains from craplementals to go with this, when in reality all you need to run is a double Cagematch Custodian. This means that basically one fifth of your deck tutors or is Doomhammer, and you have way easier time to draw burst. For spells, probably the only non nature spell you need is Primordial Studies, which gives you more Lady Vashj for burst. The only downside to this deck is that if it becomes popular, people might start running Acidic Swamp Ooze. On the other hand though, you might still have enough burst and draw to win, even if they do.
Shaman now really needs a 4 mana elemental and a high cost spell and elemental shaman would work!
Shaman would need several good 4 mana cards before they would be played instead of Kazakus.
In elemental shaman you want 4 mana elementals otherwise it screws your curve with that 5 mana that hexs a minion. That’s the main flaw of the deck, bad curve at middle game and lack of tempo swings. Primordial can give you an 8 mana minion if you run that lifesteal spell, but that spell is useless in a lot of matchups. We need a proactive high cost card for Primordial.
You cant rly run Primordial when running dungeoneer.
If he draws your one high cost spell your Primordial is not worth it anymore.
The risk of gettin your two 8 cost spells by topdeck plus a tutor is way to high.
This draw mechanic isnt rly good for control styles imho, it suits aggro way more
Primordial in Shaman is kinda weird, because you really just have the two Tidal Waves for synergy unless you're running C'thun (which you really probably don't want to run with Dungeoneer), which means you do risk drawing your payoff cards before you want to. But tutoring the Primordial IS quite good in control decks and the deck thinning in a control deck is pretty valuable. Maybe they'll add another high-endish Shaman spell for Primordial here too.
But... I think this is really looking to support burst shaman decks and more mid-range control variants.

Yeah, super sad shaman's class identity is being ruined, like wtf blizzard
This card is perfectly playable even if you have some non-nature spells in your deck.
