Question. Do you post (rant) when you win too? Or just when you can´t win? Because, you know, by ranting you will not become a better player, just a better ranter...
Yes this is me posting after a win. Just not a fun class to play against
I played 6 game against priest and win all the 6 game (ok, with priest too).
Priest is in a good spot, but mostly players are unable to play that class with decent winrate.
HSReplay tell us that is the worst class after shaman. Vicious syndicate tell us that control priest (best archetype for the class) is t3 at legend and diamond, and t4 on all ranks.
I enjoy playing priest and playing against priest, the winrate isn’t problematic and even the popularity isn’t problematic.
So for me is only a rant, whitout any reason behind.
Tempo storm has them as tier 1 and if you play vs. a good one you'll see why. But even then balance aside, the bad ones can still make the games take forever. Hard to grind ladder when you run into a few of them and the games take forever
Have you even read what i wrote? I can prove you wrong that priest is by any means as strong as you try to make us believe, and you ignore it?

But I « grind » ladder with priest, is not hard to play game that in average are 10-12 minutes. If you play aggro because you love short game you need to know when is time to concède against control. And again if the average game with or against priest is a12 minutes priest’s games against aggro are way faster.
I played against some pro-player past season, and yes is difficult, but that’s normal. But as I said before the average priest player you counter in ladder (at least until top 500) is not able to master the deck, and you can win even with a deck that isn’t Lock. As if you play Lock and you are a bad player you can still lose against priest.
im a priest player, only play priest.. you are really saying this? paladin has 3 tier-1 decks with above 60% winrate.. i've been facing paladin and mage the whole day

Yes this is me posting after a win. Just not a fun class to play against
Mage, warlock, paladin, Hunter are all extremely unfun to play against. So bs unfun even when I beat them because it's so stressful. At least against priest I know I have a chance.
Every game vs a Priest takes 15 minutes or more. Even a bad one can stall until the decks go to fatigue. There are not reliable tempo decks to keep them in check/kill before 10.
Not to mention the infinite value generation, this is a tier 1 deck in standard (if it isn't obvious yet) but it makes the whole meta slower/stale. Only Warlock can reliably shut them out but even then Warlock can't climb because it sucks vs everything else.
Priest is literally the 2nd worst class in winrate % according to HS Replay. It may be frustrating, but that doesn't make standard unplayable...
I actually play alot of Priest and Control Warrior, because the Game takes like 15+ Minutes. Yes my winrate is around 40%, but i dont care for winning or not. The only thing i care is XP since i am lvl 100+ and D5.

Did you have to wait for more than a couple of seconds per turn? Are you playing any cards that cost more than 3 mana in any of your decks? Do you actually have a strategy other than going ham every single turn with every single deck? Do armor and health generating cards annoy you? Do you wish every game would last 5 mins tops because lets be real you have a life? duh
Priest should be deleted until they come up with a new style for it. I don't care about win rates or what tier it is, or even match length most of the time. But Priest has been pure hell to play against for years now. It's the only class that I always consider just conceding against because I don't want to play a 15-30+ min game which even if I win, it feels terrible and unfun to play. Or let us choose one class to ban matchups against, I'd choose priest and be happy to never see it again.
replace priest by paladin and i would agree with you.
your problem is that you are playing Rush Warrior and its a though match up for the warrior, even tho it can be won, its still hard to navigate through all the random spells healing and removals that they can have. dont over extend, try to present one threat at a time, dont go to wide,. go tall
i hate ressurect priest... im actually an old school ressurect priest hater. And i ENJOY playing actual control priest. i tried control hunter, control druid, control warrior..but none ot those rape the meta as priest does.so yeah.. let the haters hate
It feels like a coin being flipped Everytime you play that class right now. Too much discovery and value and stall. Soul mirror, blademaster to aposthesis, auspicious spirits, the spellweavers generating more shit. Then giving them divine shield and copying them. Renew discovering more shit. Plague of death. Wave of apathy. Heal to xyrella. Draconic studies...
#1 legend control priest
"Priest leads the charge in this meta, with Control Priest exerting a dominating grip on the state of the game. The majority of decks can’t compete with Control Priest’s flexibility—and even if they could, the Priest would just randomly generate an out to close out the game.."
What are you playing that Priests make you suffer?
Hunter can't beat priests. Mage probably does. Paladin either does or doesn't depending on build. Warlock beats them. I imagine Control Warrior beats them -- although I haven't checked the stats.
The ADHS is strong with you but let me tell you smth. Try to build a priestdeck on your own. No matter what you are doing, let it be zoo, silence, or the fastest priest deck there is where you draw your deck as fast as possible, whatever, after 2-3 wins the matchmaker adapts to your new deck and you get hardcounters 99% of the time, so its not worth the time and priest players fall back to the decks they are used to, because they got a place in the generic meta. A shitty place, but a place. And now dear moderator do your job.

But try to reason for a moment; how is it possible that for Tempostorm is the best deck and on HSReplay and Vicious Syndicate the stats tell a different story? We already explained it to you: because at the highest levels (aka top 100/200 legend) the deck is used correctly and gets such results. But as soon as you go down the players are unable to play the deck as well and the result is the statistics that we can all see on the sites just mentioned.
Given the content of your comments it seems obvious that you are not at that level, so your opponents who play priest, on average, do not know how to play it.
And in fact the best priest deck on HSReplay (free version) is at 53.6% winrate while the other classes: 72% of a secret paladin, 64% DH, 66.7% druid, 69.5% Hunter, 66% mage, 61.9% rogue, 59.6% Shaman (!), 62.2% Lock (!) and 64.1% Warrior.
And again, if you look at Vicious Syndicate's MU charts the only positives for control priests are Face Hunter, Miracle Priest and Rush Warrior. If you filter from D4 to Legend you find another favorable MU; against Elemental Shaman. That's it.
The same things are said by the analysis as well: Not much has changed for Control Priest. Largely unplayable where Warlocks are prevalent, and largely influential where they aren't. It also helps that Control Priest significantly improves many of its matchups at top legend. It's an impressively complex deck.
This is easily seen when you play Priest at decent levels during the climb: the best matchup for me (who have over 4k wins with the class) is the mirror. Litterally. 100% winrate this season for me (6-0).
So the options are few: either the RNG rewards those who play priest at high levels, or the RNG doesn't have much to do with it and the average player is totally incapable of predicting the course of the game and then to manage the RNG inherent in the discover and the gameplan for the game. So if you cannot punish him for his mistakes, the problem is not his deck.

I've tried this actually! And it's fun but not incredibly successful...
I agree with you, other than that i really really dislike paladin right now.
Anyone using the word "unplayable" right now has never experienced a truly bad meta in HS.

I love playing against priest. Only because I know their first four to five turns they are doing basically nothing.

yeah priest is the most annoying piece of shit since I started playing in 2015, just a boring hero in general
