Or sometimes, people only have a little bit of their time that they could play and they also have other obligations to fulfill. I don't start a game if I don't have enough time to finish it. I don't know when I play if I'm getting matched versus a face hunter or a priest. Those 2 matches take totally different lengths of time, even when both players play and then pass turn. As an adult, some people might like to play but have to do laundry, cook, take care of children, or whatever. Their turn is allotted the same amount of time as yours is. You can spend your whole time thinking about your turn if you want to.
I am seeing a lot of odd warrior ropers in wild and its frustrating as hell. Blizzard really made a mistake in giving out exp based on playtime.
That's just botters. More xp for longer game.
Makes things worst. I am playing what should be an interactive game against a bot that plays no cards and takes 90 seconds each round? Blizzard really needs a reporting function in hearthstone

It wouldn't matter. Customer service would never take action against someone for roping even it it seems like an obvious bot.
More games played makes Blizzard look good for their Activision overlords. It doesn't matter to them that you are actually enjoying yourself (or are even present at the game).
Yeah, but you share that time with someone else, it's called respect. You don't arrive 1 hour late at a meeting because "it is your time and you do what you want with it".
It's not really comparable. Its more like you are given an assignment and two days to do it. Then you can absolutely use two days to do it.
In my experience ropers really aren't a problem either. I almost never face the, but when I do I'm doing something else to do so. I only rope myself on difficult or turns with a lot of moves you have to get through. But if someone else ropes it's their game given right to do so
cause they are edgy kids thinking multitasking is a trait of being smart. so they are watching ytb or netflix or even playing another game like some bozo just said.
They end up not enjoying either thing, since multitasking is for efficiency purposes not entertainment.
"They end up not enjoying either thing"
I don't know. If you only netdeck, which I don't, but a LOT of people do, you probably don't play the game for entertainment.
Also, where is the fun in watching your opponent make a move? Hearthstone is a game where you can close your eyes entirely on your opponent's turn and not lose anything, since the system makes sure that no cheating can be done, and it also makes sure that you don't do anything in your opponent's turn, unlike Yu-Gi-Oh!, for example, where you must be ready to discard a card if your opponent plays a card that does so. Hearthstone is fun because YOU (in your turn) can make sick combos and deal a lot of damage.
Turn limit exists for a reason. I usually finish my turn early, then just leave it as is until my turn starts.
I do agree if you think that the turn limit is a bit too long. IMO, reduction by around 10-20% won't hurt to make the game slightly faster for those who don't multitask.

It's more like an assignment you are doing with another person. It still comes down to respect.
The VAST majority of opponents I've seen could stand to play a bit slower, judging by the rampant sub-par play.
I don't make roping a habit when there's no reason for it, but I would never take one second less than is allowed if it meant making a better play, and while I know the standard response is "this is a kid's game, doesn't take time to play good, blah blah blah", the reality is, I very rarely see an opponent play a flawless game (or play one myself), and hurrying to meet your schedule is not high on my list of priorities.
As for the, "it's about respect" crowd, nothing about this population of players suggests to me that I should start with greater than zero respect for a random Hearthstone player until it has been earned.

Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.
They said events are coming, did we had one after quests? I seriously can't remember!
You hate ropers? Lol just craft Nozdormu and play on Nozdormu day! They play net decks ? Those evil evil dudes only listen to the whispers of blizz... "nozdormu day is awesome but gets you nothing... Go rope for exp, do it"

You're mixing things that have no relation to each other. Even a person without respect will not arrive to a meeting an hour late without any reason for being that late because said action has a cute thing called consequences. Imagine someone who is naturally tardy, the second or third time he arrives an hour late to a meeting with friend/s they'll be like yeah fuck off mate, we're not calling you again, that's for certain. And of course, you can certainly pull that off with your job but it'll be the last thing you do.
What consequences are there for people who rope intentionally on hearthstone, exactly? That plus the fact that, y'know, it's online and the only way you could get repercussions because of it, is if you're stupid enough to accept a friend request from someone you just roped, et voilá, the recipe is complete.
And as has been said time and time again, one can't ever possibly prove that another player is roping on purpose with the only intention of pissing the other player off (bots are a different matter entirely). The solution always has been and always will be the same (it's not like ropers are something new because of the xp thing): if it's a person, it's a meh to bad matchup, you value your time more than a star on ladder and you get pissed at ropers...concede and move on. If not, keep playing and do something else while waiting for their turns to get done. Complaining won't get you anywhere, I'll tell you that for a fact.

This is bs play one game or the other.
If they don't have Nozdormu in their deck, then you just put a card in your deck that does nothing for you.

I mostly need 10 seconds. Rarely I eat or do dishes, but since I got no PC I play how it's supposed to be.
I got so tiltet I also wanted to farm exp. I couldn't even do a single game that's how disgusted I am
Blizzard fucking sucks and still rewards those bots and players, for that I will never forgive them again.
