I'd say that Warlock is so popular also because there are not many control archetypes to choose from right now. Basically you can play Priest, Warlock or Warrior and that's it. Out of the three, Warlock seems to be the most interesting, despite being probably the worst.

That’s interesting, because I think the exact opposite. Control warlock is one of the most boring & linear decks in the game, IMO. Nearly every game seems to play out exactly the same way. I find priest & warrior FAR more interesting & fun to play, regardless of win rates. Obviously, this is all subjective, but warlock is probably last on the list of current decks I’d want to ladder with.

While warlock gets free wins against priest, which is the best deck against paladin, warlock gets farmed by hunters, rogues and spell mages. It’s a hard sell to ladder with warlock, a moderate amount of face damage wrecks it.

You are entitled to your own opinion, but I think that majority of players wouldn't agree with you. Priest's and Warrior's strategy is to sit down, remove every threat and heal / armor up until fatigue, while Warlock at least has some pro-active win conditions (Jaraxxus, Tickatus, Envoy) and (unlike Priest with tons of random generation) he has to manage his resources to survive. I'm not saying he's harder to play or anything, but I'm sure that he's more interesting for most people.

Priest has discover for days, though. Generally speaking it's fun to play cards that didn't start in your deck, and Priest will generate 15+ over the course of a long game between Renew, Draconic Studies (which has a fairly interesting pool), Scorpid, and whatever additional card generation that those yield.

Anytime anyone says "most people," they are talking about "me, myself, and I." Because you honestly have no idea what most people think unless you have commissioned a survey of thousands of Hearthstone players.

Warlock would be King in a control meta because it is literally impossible to beat with any other control deck because of their infinite threats and that they have enough removal for your threats, because they are so late. Tickatus that everyone hates does close to Nothing though. It just makes fatigue Come quicker.

Whatever you say, yet Warlock is twice as popular as Priest right now. And I didn't say it's a fact, I said "I'm sure" since it's only my opinion.
Theres no debate, you need literaly 0 skills to play priest, yo play pasive mode, warlock and even more warrior require management of resources and dont have infinite value of generating cards

Actually I agree with him. Priest just plays discover cards and hopes that he gets what he needs, where's skill in that?
And if your only argument is to call other names - I'm legend with warlock so at least use "warlock fanboy".

How many times you hit legend with Priest? Exactly

Overall like 3 or 4, recently none, too much random (that's also why I haven't played my favourite class - mage in like half a year).

Tbh priest sucks balls against warlock and junk.
I'd love to like control warlock. I really do. Envoy Rustwix and Lord Jaraxxus are godsends and it should be a no brainer from there.
But then you have Tickatus and Y'shaarj and it all becomes boring and non interactive. Plus, any control deck you can make is automatically destroyed by it because there are zero chances you can either assemble and play a C'Thun or survive the fatigue game and that conditions. Well, unless you are a priest and miraculously manage to pull the good old Ilucia into non-corrupted Tickatus.

Educated Elekk+Raise Dead in priest, warrior needs to go deathrattle heavy (Rattlegore+sth, like Scrapyard Colossus, Cairne Bloodhoof or Plagued Protodrake. No one does that because it makes aggro matchup weaker but if you want to win with warrior or priest againts warlock it can be done.
No. Warlock is one of the weaker classes at the moment.
