Any aggro / tempo deck should do. Yet, if you are looking for something non-aggro, Control Warrior is looking really good in early days of "new" meta and variant with Rattlegore should destroy Warlock with ease (unless he learns to run Ironbeak Owl, which it's not very likely).
Good warlock players are using Silas which if u draw him in this mu the game is over, most of the time. It's almost like a free win for the Warlock.
So you guys pointed it loses badly to aggro, so which aggro decks we have right now? Hunter? No... hunter is playing dire frenzy now for obvious reasons, we have the poison rogue which get farmed by warlock running 2x ooze, or any decent deck.
Also i agree with you guys that gibblerling druid is more like a combo than aggro deck and it can be quite good against warlock.
Maybe it's becouse of the nerfs. I will dust all nerfed cards but right now still got hysteria and mankrik in warlock and hunter couse I'm too lazy and tiltet to make a new deck
im actually serious. their 1 weakness was paladins just killing them by turn 6 but they lost most of their early game. over 74% of my games since nerfs are mage and warlock
Warlock has only weaknesses, literally. It's a tier 4 deck with ONE excellent matchup in control priest and almost everything else is unfavourable. If you play priest in a ladder pocket full of warlocks, well, you're a bit of a dummy, lad. If you're not playing priest you need to learn to play against warlock, there's not much else to it.
Lol a lot here are saying something like warlock has 100% no chance against aggro which is bullshit. My warlock is corrupt and soulshard
Against hunter give tciktakus lifesteal. There's enough aoe
Against druid draw a good curve (yes, some 1,2,3 mana cards)
Against other aggro survive till 7 or 8 mana and you most likely win.
Corrupt warlock is a hellish crazy deck. It will get nerfed 100% in my opinion. All it's missing right now is a better curve, a little aoe and good 6,7 mana cards.

But yeah there is no aggro, period.
What are you talking about? Warlock loses to Paladins (save maybe Libram Paladins) and Mages which were most popular classes before nerfs and still are. Warlock does not farm Rogue, which can without weapon bring you down with spells only from 25 life in one turn. And you don't really have space for all these tech cards like Silas and Oozes in one deck.

not sure what op is smoking, warlock is in absolute awful spot atm i have been playing it pretty much since rotation (tryingt get 1000 wins portrait) and there's no unicorn warlock deck that people are missing, it's been fully explored by this point.
it folds to mage, hunter, demon hunter (any version), weapon rogue (yeah rare, but there are a few about still), token druid unless you have perfect removal draws early.
it's best matchups are warrior and priest (priest is basically free win), does mediocre vs paladin and shaman decks usually have enough reach/burn to finish you off.
only reason to play the deck is if you are a masochist or are looking to get x win portraits.
People who claim Warlock is great probably never played it seriously. They never show how they do on ladder with this class, nobody can say they achieved legend with it. They just make up "good" strategies they never tried.
Warlock has no burst potential, no serious mana cheating, they just have good cards, but they play 1-2 cards turn 6, when rogue or mage play 10. That's the problem. You can leave few warlock minions on board and you won't be dead next turn like you will against any good class - hunter, rogue, paladin, mage

Warlock is just "too fair" as a class (for the most part). Nowadays meta deck must be broken in some way to compete with others and if it's not, it sits on the bench with Shaman... Warlock no doubt has some good stuff (like Jaraxxus, Malicia or Envoy) but it's not enough. At this point he needs either something crazy to distract opponent from attacking his face, either better removals and taunts (to stop the damage) or reliable heal source (to recover from damage already taken).
No matter what i’m playing, Deathrattle DH, Midrange DH, Rush Warrior; Control Warrior, Priest all Archtypes, he can clear and handle every board at every state of the game and tickatus did the rest.

It's a control class... It doesn't need those things. You could make a case that the standard version doesn't have consistent enough healing or mid game removal (though that's solved by playing mill warlock). But it it has enough control tools to deal with faster decks, it beats other control decks in fatigue, and it at least has a chance to beat combo if you have a little luck on your card burn.
It's a good deck as long as the meta isn't 40% spell mage and face hunter. So let's see how things shake out over the next week or two.

Not really, unfortunately. He also struggles with Demon Hunter (OTK, Inquisitor), Rogue (Poison, Miracle, Secret), Druid (Token, Clown, even Celestial), Control Warrior (with Rattlegore), other Hunters (e.g with King Krush - Leoroxx combo). Hell even with pathetic Ping Mage (due to unblockable burst damage) or aggro Shaman (if he can draw his burst fast enough).
Do you see a pattern here? Anything that can deal a lot of damage in a short amount of time (like most decks in current Hearthstone...) or can generate tons of value, beats Warlock.
He definitely needs something, either better control tools, either completely new stuff (like fresh, viable archetype or maybe even rework). Self-punishment (like discard hand or destroy own deck) is not a good direction for sure, unless the payoff is good enough, but that's never the case.

It’s frustrating & annoying
My friend is saying the same thing and he's also saying warlocks are growing in popularity now that Tickatus dodged another nerf. He says only aggro wins, midrange, control, combo loses to Tickatus. We were shocked Tickatus didn't get nerfed and unhappy how it's dictating the meta by making it full of aggro.

Warlock dictates nothing, that's a lie repeated over and over by bronze players and the presence of Control Priest in the meta is the best example of that. Tickatus wasn't directly nerfed for the same reason why Incanter's Flow wasn't nerfed. Because that would kill the entire class for at least several weeks (until mini set) and decrease diversity of the meta even further.
If you would lose to Tickatus, you would lose to many other decks that can OTK you - Demon Hunter, Mage, Rogue. We have aggro meta not because Warlock is good - it's because aggro is good.

blad warlock needs a buff cuz srs....you manz just talking jibberish

I dunno but playing warlock is absolutely boring. They are all playing the same net decked bs with nothing but removal and shards up the ass.

It's not like they have many options to compete, what else do you want them to play ?
Paladin was nerfed? Really?

Yes, Warlock has good matchup against both Priest and Warrior, but you should be able to win against it with Demon Hunter.
