I went with Warlock. I had none of the legendaries, none of the epics even and since I'm still a relatively new player, have been using and levelled up only 6 classes and the other 4 went up to level 10 after the purchase, so I could play Duels and collect the free 3 decks for the New Year (yep, this quest was still active for me) and got another legendary out of one of those. This was quite outstanding value for me.
I looked at the demon hunter recipe, it's deathrattle + watchpost, this deck is legit worse than freeze shaman especially post watchposts nerf, I built this exact deck myself for fun at the start of the expansion and it was incredibly bad, so I didn't bother checking the other decks and I'm not taking any of them ever.
I have most cards anyway, it's not for me. But new players be careful which battle-ready deck you chose.
Picked up the rogue! I was only missing shadow jeweller hanar but was still cheaper to buy then cracking packs looking for him, have been wanting to try secret rogue for a good while now so worth it to me!
I havent seen exact decklist yet, but deathrattle DH is far from being bad! It has really good winrate againts paladins and does pretty well against priests and warlocks as well.
I'm gonna buy either Rogue or Warlock but I'm not sure if you get all the cards if you have some of them? It's not explained very well.
You get all the cards that are not core cards. So you can just dust extra copies of cards you already have.
Unfortunately you don't a copy of the core cards in the deck that you can keep when they eventually rotate out of core, which for me is a deal breaker.

at the start of the expansion i disagree tho. it was quite decent, until the classes got refined, and of course after the watchpost nerfs it came crumbing down
I'm thinking about getting the Warlock deck. Even though I find that particular Control Warlock archetype extremely boring, I like Warlock in general and own none of the legendaries and epics, so the value will be quite insane.
The most interesting and overall good decks are Rogue, Paladin and Warrior, I think, but I already own a lot of those cards, so I won't bother probably. I wish the Hunter deck would contain Tavish Stormpike instead of Ace Hunter Kreen. Might not be good now, but still a very interesting card.
I'd actually advice peopke to wait before they buy one of those decks. They're cheap considering you get a full meta deck (or pretty close to it) and I wish Blizzard was so generous when I started playing the game but the devs have announced that they'll probably announce and implement a new set of nerfs and maybe even some buff in like a 1-2 weeks period and that could shake up the meta and those decks could end up getting a lot worse or maybe even unplayable.
I bought the Warlock one. It's a class I have very few cards for that I'm developing a fondness for, so I went with it. Great dust value for the 20 bucks too. 20 bucks in packs sometimes doesn't net you one legendary, let alone like 4.
I already have all the cards so I built all the decks for fun the day the Battle-Ready Decks were announced to test them out.
I'm really enjoying playing Deathrattle DH - I tried to build my own version of that archetype day one but what I ended up with was hot garbage. This pre-built version is getting me lots of wins in spite of Watch Tower nerfs, so I can imagine it was pretty damn strong when those were 2/4s and 3/5s
And no, it's far from the best deck to pick if you want to actually buy one, we all know that. But it's my favourite to play...
But to reiterate I do NOT recommend you buy this one! I'm purely defending it because it's stronger than people are making out and super-fun.

Are you positive about the core cards? I have a full collec so was thinking about the Warlock one for the dust, but if you’re right none is worth buying in my case.
There are Core Set cards in these decks, will I get those cards again?
(Updated) If you already have the Core Set cards in a Battle-Ready deck, you will not receive them again. If you don’t, purchasing a deck will automatically set all classes to level 10, unlocking all Core set cards.
Purchasing a deck only unlocks Core cards. It does not give you copies of them. It is a little misleading that they also say in the deck lists "Contains 30 cards," when that is clearly not the case. But that's marketing for ya -- as shady as they think they can get away with.

Curious to see what others have taken?

Do you get one for free or do you have to pay for it? $20 seems a little steep

I can’t believe people are buying this……. Blizzard is copying from net decking sites and people give them their $$! Clever!
Before you know it a nerf and a mini expansion will result in an obsolete deck
I deleted the deck mere seconds after buying it. I wanted the cards.

Take a walk on the wild side...

Yeah... I usually buy stuff like this, but I'm skipping on this. It doesn't feel worth it to me.
The announcement for Battle Ready Decks spells out how Core cards are handled:
