Not even going to bother attempting to say why? This community continues to surprise me in that they demand and demand and demand that things are changed to suit them. It's pretty much a daily thing, to see someone wanting some nerf or another.
At this point I just can't help but shrug, assume you're bad at the game and move on really. Maybe ignorant but it's just my perception.
Well maby a card just fits perfectly in everykind of deck of this game, either aggro, midrange or control with an insane winrate, it can either destroy a minion, heal o deal EIGHT damage to face and eventhough leaves an 8/8 in field needs to be considered as extremelly opresive
Agreed, every card in the game needs to be turned into either a 10 mana 1/1 with no text or a 10 mana spell that deals no damage.
On that note, I really like Kobolds & Catacombs for expensive cards with powerful effects with small stats. I really like that design for strong cards. I wish we had more of that.

Should have started with this in your OP, atleast then your post has some kind of argument to it, rather than just being salt thread material. And maybe you have a point? I dunno, 9 mana isn't cheap but it is neutral burst that bypasses taunts. The 8/8 body seems kind of irrevelvant.
It is the only old school remade dragon that I see when on ladder, it does seem quite common.
Glad to see someone with common sense, although malygos and ysera are algo used and pretty good but they are just a 9 mana do pretty nothing this turn.
I don't totally disagree with making an adjustment to this card, but no need to kill it. Neutral reach is something that they didn't want people to have when they HoF'd Leeroy (and more recently nerfed Pen Flinger, too).
Like, the other day I was at 8 health against a paladin, and I was like, "well, he has no minions on board, so I'm safe from lethal" because paladin is known to buff their stuff. That's what the game has taught me, and that's generally how the class is played.

Guess that's on me for not expecting an aggro buff paladin to run this card?
Perhaps if they changed the text to read, deal 6 damage to an enemy or heal a friendly character for 10?
Look at cards like Renew, 1 mana heal 3 and Runed Orb, 2 mana deal 2 damage. I thought they wanted healing to be more mana efficient and have a greater effect. So why not Alex, too?
I think this card is kind of problematic, and could be more so down the road. It gives classes reach that they normally shouldn't have. It's almost like a neutral pyroblast. Obviously right now there are way bigger offenders, but I do think bilzzard needs to keep an eye on this one...
It used to be 9 mana deal up to 15 or heal up to 14.
This is not that bad. It has a Tier 2 win rate of about 57%, and that's only because Secret Pally runs it. Without Secret Pally it would be at 51-52%; strong but not gamebreaking.

Hes too ashamed to admit that hes probably a priest/mage main that gets destroyed by rogues. Thats why.

Ragnaros lightlord and firelord which cost both 8 mana did pretty much the same thing.
That's nothing. In a thread a couple weeks ago, someone actually complained about Fireball. Still shaking my head at that one.
