My solution for No Minion Mage (and any other spell-heavy deck):
I don't think it will help, what will help is delete the altogether, limits any other deck played.
I was having 13 HP board with 30 my minions had deathrattle to summon totems, was cleared, dropped to 10 and then finished with discover channel cards and his empty deck. The deck is broken. Overflow of draw and discovers.

That's not enough armor. I knocked a guy down to 6 health on turn 5 and his response was to play Reno. I killed him and Reno on turn 6.
The deck is not broken, I have stalled out at Diamond 9-7. A vast variety of aggro decks are killing me, sometimes by turn 4. When it goes off it's nuts, but it doesn't quite go off often enough for a nerf.

One other thing. Despite my innate hostility towards people who do the wall of text or "you think you're clever" schtick, make no mistake. I'm only continuing this conversation because I assume you are dealing in good faith and am trying to do the same.
You'll notice I no longer reply to Hoogout or yepapapa (misspellings likely). Hoog went off the deepend into full-fledged racism and yep exposed himself as an unabashed troll after I tried to engage with them repeatedly. It may not feel like a compliment when I reply to you, but I mean it as one.

If you mean Incanter's Flow, that's obviously a part of spell mage, as well as the rest of the combos others have mentioned in wild.
My argument is I'm not the one responsible for making an argument. Anyone who has thrown out reasons for why the card is allegedly over powered has riddled their own posts with inaccuracies and downright fabrications or mistakes (doesn't really matter which).
You mention the card not being free as if the point was you had to wait till turn 4 to play it. I realize it's daunting making it 5 sentences into my wall of text, but if you had, you'd know that wasn't the point at all. The point is the card IS NOT FREE except in cases where the deck is only made of spells.
Honestly though, in one post you lament walls of text and ask for an argument. Pick one. I'm not going to handicap myself to a character count.
Better yet, just forget it. You're clearly convinced it's a broken card despite the deck you're insisting on discussing falling way out of favor. I've played hundreds of games since the Lunacy nerf and have run into single digit numbers of pure Spell Mage. I still see RSW in decks, because it's obviously a good card, but there are creatures in those decks, so insisting on calling it a free card is pointless to argue against.
But I posted all this in the "wall" so I don't know what good it's going to do here.
Why is the burden to prove it is overpowered? Perhaps the burden should be on the blizzard defender to explain why zero mana draw 2 is not overpowered.
Scorpyon I main warlock and the mages usually have more cards than I do and at a discount on top of that. Mages definitely need to be addressed
What draw options do you add to your deck, out of interest? And do you HP every turn? Only because I have played as Warlock countless times against Mage, and the only time they ever outdraw me is when I play some form of aggro deck. Control Warlock outmatches Mage for drawing power by miles if played correctly.
Take this with a grain of salt as I am a mage main in standard, but there are lots of disgustingly oppressive things in wild, hence why I personally do not play it. Yeah, sorc apprentice and spring water and incanter's flow is a bit much but there are many worse things in wild. At this point with all of these new sets coming out, the more sets that come out means some cards will naturally be busted in wild when used with other cards that it's not meant to be used with (in the lens of standard). It's to be expected that wild is a cluster fuck of broken decks and synergies. That's just hearthstone.
