Good job man! That first time feels better than any time after it. It also empowers you because now you KNOW you can get it. Now you can relax and play experimental decks or anything else you'd like for the rest of the month! I haven't tried control lock yet this month, but a few of my friends have been swearing by it, and one hit legend recently with it like yourself.
I just hit it today for the fourth time ever playing Nohandsgamers rush warrior build. I rode that deck from D8 to legend with very few hiccups. If you get tired of Warlock, I'd encourage you to give it a try!
Good job! You went through the trouble of copying a deck and got to legend in a broken meta.
swell
Me homebrew, me better player.
Don't bother with these people, they think "homebrew" means "poorly built meme deck". It's that guy who plays aggro murloc priest and expects a good win rate cause it's "homebrew". And if you play a meta deck it has to be netdecked, doesn't matter if you spent weeks experimenting and refining it by yourself, it's a meta deck, so it's a netdeck and you suck.

And yes, ofc if you create your own deck using ur brain and u still get to legend you're a far better player than netdeckers
You're not good. You're just playing the rank 1 meta deck. It's meant to win in the meta. Was I clear enough?
still gratz but my point remains
Lol I didn't use secret paladin with 70% wr, I used a 54% wr deck because I love control not aggro, and about copying the deck? wtf? you can copy a deck play it bad idk why people think that not copying / creating your own deck = good player.
im referring to people that got to legend playing secret Libram pally and no minion mage pre nerf etc
Yeah I know what you mean now, but It's fair I think, If you wanna try hard in ladder you just play the best at that moment, if a deck is too op It's something that blizz should fix!

It is just a game. If a game makes you feel frustrated enough to be passive-aggressive towards a player happy to reach legends, then it might be better for your mental health if you stop playing for a while.
Yay! After several years no playing hearthstone I came back in this new expansion with the goal to achieve legend for first time and I did!
I went from D5 to legend playing control warlock even 90% of the games were agains crazy aggro!
Good luck in the ladder guys! Kisses.
Congrats on making Legend. Always a good feeling! :-)

Good job
He still had to win the games not everyone can do that.
one again great job on Legendary!!!
GG !
Some people say Control warlock is tier 3 and "utterly unplayable" so you even got legend with honor, congratulations.
Me homebrew, me better player.

Legend doesn't mean what it used to mean.

Challenge accepted.
But for real, turn 1 coin + Crabrider into turn 2 Power Word: Feast seems pretty nuts. I expect to see this list at GMs coming soon.
EDIT: Almost forgot, congrats OP! Happy for you. :)

alright then you deserve the rank

You are just angry, maybe a bronze player.
Yes, Legend was something else before the changes, but who cares?
There are many, many players who don't get to legend, for different reasons.
I remember how great it felt when I first reached Legend, so let the OP have his moment.
Legend is too easy for you? Go for top100, go for Grandmasters, to World Championship. There's always a challenge.
im not angry and that wasn't passive aggressive..
but if I were and it was, this was the last place id look for help and you'd be the last person id ask
"You're not good. You're just playing the rank 1 meta deck. It's meant to win in the meta. Was I clear enough?".
Not being passive-aggressive? Maybe full on aggressive then.
And you do not have to be looking for help to actually need it.
Your interactions with people in this thread make you look jealous and spiteful. I’m not sure what you were trying to achieve?
Well done to the OP anyway, getting legend with Control Warlock is very impressive.
Grats Humllec!!!
Get ur salty behind outta here! Congrats on hitting legend friend!!!
