Good job! You went through the trouble of copying a deck and got to legend in a broken meta.
swell
Me homebrew, me better player.
Don't bother with these people, they think "homebrew" means "poorly built meme deck". It's that guy who plays aggro murloc priest and expects a good win rate cause it's "homebrew". And if you play a meta deck it has to be netdecked, doesn't matter if you spent weeks experimenting and refining it by yourself, it's a meta deck, so it's a netdeck and you suck.
And yes, ofc if you create your own deck using ur brain and u still get to legend you're a far better player than netdeckers
You're not good. You're just playing the rank 1 meta deck. It's meant to win in the meta. Was I clear enough?
still gratz but my point remains
Yeah, Legend isn't what it used to be. Now you get some actually decent rewards. Sure, it's easier, but that doesn't mean it's no achievement.
And you would be surprised how many people can't even get to Gold with broken tier 1 decks.
Speaking of broken tier 1 decks, I reached legend yesterday, too. First time in standard because I usually play wild. And yes, I used a secret Paladin list, but you know what? 85% winrate in Diamond ranks. So here is my question for you: Do you think I am a bad player now, just because I used the best deck in the format to climb? Is 85% enough to convince you? Does it make a difference that I changed 2 cards from the original list? How many cards do I need to swap to be a good player? Pathetic
Congratz to OP, by the way. See you in the 20k legend ranks!
Got legend too for the first time, started in 2018! It is not a long time of playing but feels cool haha. Got to D5 with my decks (used Gliding Blackthorn and Baku Totem Shaman) and then used homemade Buff Pala.

Legend is a grind to show you can maintain an above 50% winrate. Making it easier by shortening the grind ensures more people will make Legend who have the ability to maintain that winrate.
It makes sense, it maintains the skill aspect of getting Legend while massively reducing the attrition aspect.
Alright, I'm'a say this now: quit the sniping please, guys. There's no need for salty rants when people want to share their pepper news - on that note, this probably belonged there, but it's a little late now so I will leave it for the moment. Unless the baiting continues.

Damn, now I almost wanna play Priest. What have you done? :p Also, no Rally! in that deck? Seems pretty good in such a list.
Congrats to OP btw.

Agree with the guy a couple of posts above.
