Why didn't Blizzard put Rogue's hero power as a combo card activator? It sucks to depend only on other cards to be able to activate T_TI understand that Rogue has several cards that he buys others, but when he arrives in the situation where I am without any cards and I buy a Combo card ..... it is very frustrating to lose 1 turn to buy another one and to be able to activate the combo.
Because rogue has been the best class in the game for over 7 years now and doesn't need a buff.
As a Rogue in current meta you should get to fatigue before you run out of cards in your hand, there's something wrong with your deck if you need to pass a turn to activate some combo card, play more card draw !
I assume when you say "buy" you mean "draw". If not, I have no idea what you mean.
The solution: don’t run out of cards. Rogue has a lot of draw options for a reason: It needs cards to play other cards. If you don’t have enough cards in your hand to activate combo, it isn’t the fault of the combo mechanic, it is a fault of deck construction (or in the case of field contact/auctioneer, the way you play the cards).
As to your idea about making the hero power a combo activator, I think it would be too strong. One of the downsides of combo cards is that you have to commit multiple cards and that’s why they have strong effects. If you only have to hero power and not spend a resource to activate it, you would be able to get a lot more value out of your cards by saving them for future turns. Not to mention it would make the card Tour Guide broken because it would act as a “double” combo activator for 2 different turns for 1 mana. I think it could be reasonable to print a card which “upgrades” your hero power to be a combo activator, because then you have to pay a resource for that luxury, but without that tax, it would just be a buff to rogues.

Yea Rogue is the Best class xD With Lunacy Mage , paladin dominating this expansion... and Secret mage big priest jade druid in wild .. rogue has one aggro deck thats good KEKW

You obviously don't play wild, and in standard weapon rogue beats no minion mage every time.

Rogue is the best class and always will be.
Rogue doesn't even have a tier 1 deck in wild anymore, what are you talking about? Odd and kingsbane arent relevant anymore after nitroboost nerf and priest, paladin, warlock, and mage are all far superior to rogue in wild. and no, weapon rogue doesn't win every time. It just wins a good amount of the time. YouTube and stats can easily disprove that statement.

I never said it has. All I said is rogue is the best class (it is and always will be) and the dude complaining about secret mage jade druid and big priest obviously don't play wild.
Odd and kingsbane arent relevant anymore after nitroboost nerf
Odd rogue is the most overrated deck in history i don't care about that, Kingsbane is still more relevant than big priest and jade druid. Just because most druid decks use jade idol as a last resort anti-fatigue tool doesn't mean it's "jade druid" lol.

There is no superior class in Wild this isn't how this format works. Every deck is either god mode or auto-loss based on the match up, it's 10 times more polarized than standard, which is already heavily polarized, and there are also 100 times more viable decks in Wild. And rogue has the most polarized tools of all classes, stuff like sap, vanish, kingsbane, shadowstep, caverns below, you name it.
See how a lot of people complain about secret mage being extremely oppressive, yet it loses to meme decks like odd mage or tempo odd warrior. Wild is chaos.

That's obviously what I meant when I said weapon rogue wins every time against no minion mage, that it's a good and easy matchup. Youtube can easily prove that I exaggerated, as I intented, but my statement remains correct, weapon rogue > no minion mage. Probably the easiest matchup in this meta.

While I do play and enjoy Rogue a lot more than other classes, this response is extremely naive. Over the last 7 years, Rogue has been tier 1 a LOT more than other classes. Galakrond (nerfed), Kingsbane (nerfed), aggressive decks (Cold Blood+Leeroy nerfed), Mill (HOFed), Combos (nerfed). It's received more tweaks than any other class and is generally powerful. I wouldn't really rank Rogue as the best class overall (I don't think there is a best class), but comparing it currently to the power level of mage and paladin right now is very naive. Rogue is still tier 2 and its not even close to bad.

"It sucks to depend only on other cards to be able to activate it" <-- this sentence particularly stuck out Answering this, the point of combo is to play it with other cards. If your hero power activated it, it wouldn't really be a "combo" of cards, right? Combo Rogue decks are typically oriented to have a lot of draw or cheap cards so that you can play your combo cards more often. Taking away that restriction makes it muuuch easier to play combo cards, its just not as interesting. Like Inspire.
