So playing against a mage last night, and I believe they missed some re-working with DoL. It should read Transform spells in your deck and hand. Case in point:
DoL transformed his spells, into 10 cost reduced by 3 to 7, then Incanter's Flow reduced them a further 2 so total deduction of 5.
His next turn he ran the same combo again - Nagrand into Survival.
I understand the the RNG of doing DoL with 4 ea. 7 cost spell cards in deck, but I think the simple addition to in hand (similar to Celestial Alignment) would help. Or maybe hurt.
Anyone else have similar encounters?

You do realise card is called Deck of Lunacy, right? Why would it affect your hand?
Having it at 4 mana should allow aggro decks to destroy it even more efficiently and for people to drop it for some aggro-resistant decks.
DoL into Incanter's Flow is a goldfish hand to begin with. And by turn 10 you are likely to be able to deal with opponent's board or just ignore it for the kill.
Yes, we've all had these encounters. That's really the issue. The RNG pool is small enough that spell mage can count on getting Survival of the Fittest and Nagrand Slam. If they discount first, they are more or less guaranteed multiple copies of the 8/8 healing libram.
You've got to be a troll. Fireball? Really? Yeah, that's a game breaker there.
On the other hand, I do remember this one time, I was one turn away from lethal and the other guy TOP DECKED it. (Or maybe it was Frostbolt, another broken card, IMO.) Can you believe that??? Clearly we need to get rid of any card that keeps me from winning. Damn Team 5.
You want another nerf on a card because your opponent got something with the odds of hitting the jackpot.
Seems legit.
Dude someone on this post said that he'd like Fireball to be nerfed. Like... Fireball dude, what's even bad with that card?
This community can sometimes be a nonsense lol
Lol exactly what I was thinking. This community shows time and time again that we’re lucky they don’t have the reigns to balance cards.
It's because people confuse the purpose of nerfs with their own personal wants. Nerfs aim to bring down the competitive impact of a card, a lot of community nerf calls are just wanting cards they don't like to get destroyed. They don't realise that even if that happened, the next thing they don't like will just immediately pop up. I don't think anybody likes 100% of this game, there are cards, archetypes or decks that people just don't like.
actually Libram of Hope is the only 9-cost spell atm, which means they will have at least 3-4 copies of it in the deck assuming that they played DoL after discounting with flow
Refreshing Spring Water is pretty much 0 mana draw 2 cards in No Minion Mage decks...how this card didnt get tweaked a bit is mind boggling.
Nerfing it would likely make it not worth playing. Spell mage was trash tier last expansion. It only gained refreshing springwater and now it’s competitive...hmmm...wonder what that means.

DoL active, next turn Incanter's Flow
Come turn 10 he plays Nagrand Slam for 5 mana, followed by Survival of the Fittest for 5 mana

Just got very unlucky, can happen with any deck.

Blizzard went to easy on mage, i really hope that in a future patch they nerf Refreshing Spring Water and in my wettest dreams a Fireball nerf
100% winrate agaisnt mages since the nerf. I just have to laugh when i see them play lunacy
I really hope this is bait. Why would you even consider nerfing Fireball?
So your suggestion to nerf Lunacy is to buff Lunacy just to make sure the opponent doesn't have an Incanter's Flow in hand after he played Lunacy ?

EDIT: Sorry, misread the original post.
This stuff can still happen... but I guess the point is to try to be more proactive against these decks, so they never get to do this stuff.
And sometimes.. well you just get got.
Nerf Deck of Lunacy but Tickatus remains unnerfed because reasons
DoL should be at least 5 mana for what it does, but it does not necessarily need another nerf.
However, Spring Water do need to be nerfed to either 5 mana or refresh 1 mana crystal per spell.
Hunter: Ha Ha face goes brrrrrrrrrr
As long as Tickatus can still destroy 1/3 of a players deck there is no room for any other card to be nerfed.
