Tho Op is wrong about Tickatus, Winrate statistics of Tickatus is not low you know it is actually pretty high.

Lol the HS community. You mean a pack of narcissistic kids who play Hearthstone just to piss other people off? That community? The same ones who think they're edgy and cool by posting https://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/hearthstone-general/general-discussion/212005-group-therapy-need-to-blow-off-steam-mega-salty on every fucking topic that isn't kissing the game's ass? Or maybe the "git gud" mentally handicap crowd who think they are worth a step above dog shit because they let RNG win them games while emoting "Well Played"?

Welcome!
Just because I've been lurking the forums for a while doesn't mean I still play the game. But you carry on, Mage player with your avatar from the soy trilogy.
What I don't like about the community is that they are never satisfied. Blizzard can listen to them and their feedback, and do what they ask, but shortly after that's done, the community will find something else to complain about.
Take for example the Watch Posts being nerfed. Those cards did need a nerf. They were hard to remove with massive health pools early in the game. It was hard for classes to deal 4 or 5 damage on turns 2 and 3, so Blizzard nerfed them. That was a good move.
However, shortly after that, people started demanding that we get dust refunds for Kargal Battlescar, a card that, in no way, was affected by the Watch Posts being nerfed. People can say "By making the Watch Posts worse, you're making Kargal worse" or whatever, but I don't believe that. The Watch Posts are still very powerful cards, they just don't stick as easily anymore, which is good for the health of the game. There are even decks that run Watch Posts, but don't run Kargal because a 7 mana do nothing but summon 5/5's that don't even have Rush, isn't worth playing, even with Watch Posts. All Kargal does is summon 5/5's based on how many Watch Posts you summoned. He doesn't care if the cards stick or not.
Do I think refunding Kargal was justified? No, not in the slightest. Did I disenchant Kargal so I can craft another legendary? Yeah, I sure did. But as it stands, that was weak on Blizzard's part, in my books. Kargal wasn't affected by the Watch Posts being nerfed, but because of the community being unhappy and wanting more free stuff, we got dust refunds for Kargal. The refund shouldn't have happened to begin with.

Well, playing or not, that's your choice. But being a vocal participant of a game forum would make you part of the community.
See, I was being funny there, because the problem at hand is the community being unwell, and you popped in with a perfectly snarky comment about said community... so it seemed appropriate to just kinda lay it on thick in response.
Your last point is too true. If a player can't get past Bronze 10, they're doing something wrong. It isn't the games fault, it's their fault. They can't accept that they're the one's at fault and complain about the game being broken, when it's their own mistakes that cause them to lose games. I hate to actually say this, but they just aren't good at the game if they can't get past Bronze 10.

I agree. I run watch posts at the moment and it's purely because I know the opponent will remove it and spend that crucial turn. Plus you do bump up the cost of their mana a decent amount.
Paladin for example, coin the post out and they will run a buffed 3/3 into it. Meant they've not then been able to answer Rokara and you can quickly snowball on board with buffed rush minions. Them running things into you makes avenge much easier to play around.
It's a great way to waste some removal, mana and potentially board presence for the opponent. I've had a lot of success with rush warrior tonight and the post has been really good at diverting attention.
This thread was doing so well for a moment. People coming out of the woodwork just to start insulting people on a thread where we JUST RESOLVED that insulting people on threads isn't really the way to do things - I think they just like causing a ruckus.
I think the Kargal Battlescar refund point is somewhat moot; it was ultimately a good thing because I'm sure a decent lump of people crafted him to play in Watch Posts decks, but then didn't really want to play them after the nerfs. Even if Watch Posts are still playable, that's a good enough reason to give players a free refund of something directly connected to them - especially since it costs Blizzard basically nothing.
Even if it's not necessary, it has nothing to do with game balance like a change to Tickatus would/the change to Shudderwock did. Even if somebody might consider it "pandering" or "buckling to community pressure" I think that either of those things are fine in this context because it got a good thing to happen.

This game is toxic trash which in turn invites toxic trash discussions. Trust me when I tell you this - every single person on this forum is better off quitting this game. That includes you. The reason I say so is because you're making excuses for shit within Hearthstone to reason with yourself that all of it is even worth it. You're in the trap. Hearthstone is addictive with the facade of being fun. It pings the dopamine only for you to lose. Nothing but a casino. You're in a room full of drug addicts making excuses for being drug addicts. I offer the escape. Quit the game now. You'll be happier.

I completely agree with this. The Kargal refund sets a bad precedent - if they are just going to bend the rules every time there's a petition to change something - things are going to get messy real quick! Its a shame because I feel like recently the devs have definitely been doing more to listen to genuine feedback in the community and get changes implemented.

I'm not addicted to hearthstone in the slightest, I play when I enjoy it, I don't play when I don't. Don't project your personal flaws onto other people.

Wow, thank you my Lord and Savior! You've completely opened my eyes about the nature of HS. Here, all this time, I thought that I've playing because I enjoy the game. But now, thanks to your brilliant insight, I know that I'm a junkie. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go to my Gamers Anonymous meeting.
I've heard that people who post on forums for games that they no longer play have a problem. You see, doing so gives these sad sacks a dopamine rush, but has a quick drop-off, which means people have to keep doing it. I offer the escape. Quit doing it. You'll be happier.

every meta is the worst one yet, every expansion is the least impactful, every nerf changes nothing.
Why bother pushing against the sea of negativity and salt and finding the humor in it.
