My first three games post-patch were against face hunters. Is this normal? At the same time, I was actually watching the recording of the GM stream where Viper was playing Face Hunter.... is my TV watching my phone and telling Google to tell Blizzard to match me with the same thing I'm seeing so I will buy more packs??!!1
Whew, sorry about that. Got a little carried away.
But yeah, guess people are trying aggro again. For what it's worth, I was queuing a janky Deathrattle DH because I just unpacked that new legendary, whats-his-face, and wanted to see how it felt.
Felt, surprisingly good to draw Taelin, Fishy Flier and Al'ar all at the same time.
I think Spell Mage without Deck of Lunacy and with C'thun is pretty strong.
Paladin seems to be hit hard enough. The Sword nerf hurts, but losing Pen Flinger is a BIG deal.
Rogue? Funny to see how nerfing neutral cards ends up hurting Rogue so much, despite all the broken class cards it has. That said, Weapon Rogue is probably a very strong deck.
Since Spell Mage is very good against Warlock and most other slower decks, Face Hunter, Weapon Rogue, and other aggro decks will try to farm Mage ... So I'd say that's the initial metagame for now.
I still see some No Minion Mage. So far all the opponents I have faced are still running Deck of Lunacy. I lost to one of them due to some extreme high-rolling, but beat the rest and the deck feels really underwhelming if you try to rely on Deck of Lunacy. I've faced almost no Paladins or Rogues, that's a refreshing change The most popular deck I face is Hunter by far (both face and the Leoroxx OTK version) I've faced a few Control Warriors, a few Control & Miracle Priests, a few Druids (Token, Guardian and Celestial) and even a Shaman Finally I faced quite a few Control Warlocks. I was trying different Demon Hunter builds and Warlock was one of the easiest matchups. They just do nothing and wait for you to kill them (they have a lot of removal, but that doesn't help against weapon/hero attacks or this broken 8/8 that is rush+charge combined). I only faced 1 other Demon Hunter (playing deathrattle stuff), but I expect the class to rise in popularity. Il'Gynoth OTK decks are also quite good.
Oh and the watch posts are really underwhelming now as almost every class can clear a 3-health minion on t2.
Aggro Hunter and Tickatus Warlock everywhere. Great job Blizz. Now you have that smorc shit again and so fun playing against a class that destroys 1/3 of your deck.
Meta still sucks, Secret / Libram paladin, No-Minion-Lunacy and C.Warlock are still just too boring to play against, I'm starting to concede the moment I see someone playing that, it just ruins my experience.

Secret Paladin still dominating, no minions mage is still very good, with or without Lunacy, Tickatus is here now, rogue is full Alextrasza builds and face hunters, that's it for now.
Warlock and Hunter are added to the Mix, so at least theres a bit of diversity now Notably theres much less Pala players now, even though Secret Pala is still Tier 1.
Guess there were really too many Pen Flinger Abusers. Good ridance though.

OK? Why should anyone care? Those are 3 completely different types of decks. Like, not even remotely like each other.
You're literally just complaining for complaining sake or because of bias you have which mean you will hate whatever the group of high performing decks are.
What are you playing? Why does no one ever say that? Probably because you know that someone, somewhere probably thinks whatever deck you're playing is *insert the insults you throw towards the decks you don't like*.
What rank are you? Someone may be able to help. Maybe ask for advice instead of throwing your toys out of the pram.
Is it just me or are there a lot of face hunters right now? And why wasn't this a thing before the patch? I mean, they just shoot their own things and then your face. Seems like this could have been a strategy before...

Paladin is good against those decks.
Paladin got hit quite hard. Mostly libram, not so much because of the sword but more because of the pen flinger. Making paladin less consistent against slower decks, thus less paladin, thus more room for hunter.
Currently playing Libram paladin, changed Pen Flinger for Goody Two-Shields for consistency against aggro (including secret paladin). So far so good, went from diamond 10 (prepatch) to diamond 4 (postpatch) with a 9-2 (data is not relevant at all but the deck feels well). So basically going back to MatDF Libram paladin (in concept, at least).
Seen a mix of slow and fast decks. More Priests than I expected, less Mages and Paladins. Had middling success with Control Warlock and am on a 6-0 run with Face Hunter.
I suspect Control Lock is just more popular than it's good, or I suddenly stopped being good at playing Warlock.

My aggro pally just lost to OTK DH but they did draw God hand. They either OTK you or die the next turn always

The two posts are much weaker.

good, free ranks against whiny idiots
Yup, you get your free rank and I don't have to see the same no-brain plays game after game, win-win in my book :)

I'm playing only wild but... posts are way too weak now... :( their health is abysmal for such card.
"Minion to minion the basic of all combats, only a fool trusts his win to an OTK"

The addition of Taelan Fordring for tutoring Lady Liadrin, Veteran Warmedic (gives Violet Teacher vives btw) which can be very good vs aggro and Blademaster Samuro Cariel Roame for board clear (paired with Lord Barov) / getting discounts on Librams if unlucky drawing give the deck a good feeling!
Edit: adding deck in case anyone wants to try:
Have a nice day everyone!
I lose even more than usual!
Post patch for me has mainly been hunters and demon hunters. I’ve seen two druids, one shaman, one warrior, and one paladin.
1) Yeah they're still playable
2) No idea; I've only seen it once; no idea why people are complaining
3) It's been less than a day; who knows?
4) Aggro is always alive
5) 50% winrate vs other aggro
