Kargal is crying in a corner ... It would be fair to offer a refund for him as well since he's hit quite directly by the nerfs.
I really dislike the Watch Post nerfs ... Yes, these cards have been really good, but they're a new type of card (sort of) and make Hearthstone feel a little less linear. I liked them a lot. I really hoped Blizzard wouldn't nerf them, but here we are ... :(
Personally, I would bump Deck of Lunacy to 5 mana, just to be on the safe side. It feels like a 5 mana card, too.
I also have mixed about Sword of the Fallen. But I guess I had mixed feeling about Ancharr as well, and it turned out to be a good nerf, so I suppose it's only fair ... But somehow I feel that early secrets while oppressive were kinda fun and that the true frustration of playing against Paladin lies elsewhere (looking at you, Librams ...).
All seem like really good nerfs that make the cards less offensive but still viable, hopefully making room for new decks to squeeze into the meta.
Sword of the Fallen and Deck of Lunacy do still look very, very broken and might not have been hit hard enough, but I have no doubt Blizz will hit them again if needed

I have pulled Kargal as well... didn't make a deck yet but wanted to try one. Wish they would buff him a bit to summon 6/6 or give him taunt. But Blizz never do this so...

"Minion to minion the basic of all combats, only a fool trusts his win to an OTK"
incanters flow and refreshing spring water should have been nerfed, not sure how these cards are going under the radar with how insanely strong they are
Yeah they were the true problem cards the whole time. I thought that was obvious but maybe the devs did some testing for once, doubt it but maybe
People not understanding the Lunacy nerfs do not understand this game. It is a massive nerf. A LOT of aggressive decks have very threatening boards around turns 3-5, and mage having to decide whether or not to "do nothing" on turn 4 (3 w/coin), or control the board makes a massive difference as opposed to being able to lunacy only staring down 1 threat.
Good changes, thank you for not killing cards (other than flinger). A lot of the community wants stupid nerfs that make cards unplayable. Cards should be balanced, not made unplayable, and these changes did a good job other than Flinger being over nerfed, since now he wont be in a single deck.
Even after a nerf Sword of Fallen still draws 2 cards and cheats them into play, plus equipping a 2/1 weapon for 2-mana lol. Refreshing Springwater still being 0-Mana "Draw 2 cards" is mind boggling.
By nerfing watch posts (though I agree they were too strong), they made mage able to deal with it turn 2. It means its not gonna see play and that 4 mana DoL nerf might not then be enough. Paladin are not nerfed enough. That libram package is too strong still. At least they will not push face so hard without the pen flingers- They are just going to switch back to broom sticks. You will see, 60% of paladins in ladder even after nerfs.

Thank you friend I was starting to lose faith. It is indeed a massive nerf.
Before, you hard mulligan for Lunacy every single time, you play Lunacy on turn 1/2 against empty/small board, and by turn 5 you already have multiple random spells with reduced cost to choose from.
Now, you DON'T mulligan for Lunacy against aggro, you play Lunacy on turn 4 against a big board, and by turn 5 you have 1 random spell with reduced cost. If it's not the absolute perfect card for the situation, you're dead, because you spent 4 turns doing nothing and got nothing.
I don't think it is unplayable, it's still going to be good against control decks, but it's going to be the worst card in no-minion mage and people will eventually cut it because it's a dead card against aggro.

Don't worry, if mage still in play we all play aggro face and delete them from the game

This. Honestly 3 mana possible would have been fine.
A lot of players massively underestimate tempo in HS but people not understanding the difference between a 2 drop and a 4 drop is new to me.
Good nerfs, I think. Deck of Lunacy will return to being a meme. Refreshing Spring Water still looks too strong though, so No Minion Mage might stick. Sword of the Fallen will still be strong, but not broken. Finally no endless Pen Flingers to the face anymore, I'm so glad about that. The nerf to Jandice Barov is understandable. The Watch Post nerfs look a bit like overkill though.
Also, this time tomorrow I will be 3200 dust richer. Nice. I will dry a tear for Jandice, but none for DoL.
I think the Deck of Lunacy nerf is going to be more impactful than people expect. It'll stop it from being played on 2 or with coin, leading to the really unfun early high cost spells being played. Plus without any Incanter's Flow (which is already 2 mana do nothing), Deck of Lunacy is now effectively a 4 mana do nothing, which will be hard to fit into a turn.
Lunacy nerf is nowhere near enough. The deck doesn't need Lunacy to win, at all, and the card probably still makes it in at 4 mana anyway. Spring Water, Incanter's Flow, or Apexis Blast (or several of the above) needed to be hit, and pretty hard. I don't know why they wouldn't drop the orbital nuke on Deck of Lunacy - it's clearly meant as a meme card, why even make it possibly viable? Aren't they aware playing against its effect is zero fun for most players? How about 2 mana: For the rest of the game, your Charge minions have +1 attacK?
Also unhappy with the Watchpost nerfs. They were only as effective because people don't know how to play around them. Mor'shan at 3/4 may as well have no text, since board centric decks just have enough damage on board to kill it on turn 3 anyway. Far Watchpost at 2/3 is probably a tad less bad, but it's still a damn load weaker. Also, guessing Kargal Battlescar doesn't get a dust refund for these nerfs, even though he's a lot weaker now because I don't think you're interested in running Mor'shan anymore.
Pretty happy with the rest of the nerfs, though. Pen Flinger's still arguably playable but nowhere near as annoying, Jandice feels about right at 6, and Sword of the Fallen is still super powerful but no longer as back breaking. Plus, I unpacked 6 total Swords of the Fallen on day one, one of them golden, so even if I choose to keep 2 I'm getting a real nice chunk of dust out of that.

Sword of the Fallen could have been 3 mana 1/2. The rest seems ok. Generally, pretty soft nerfs
Springwater should be either 5 mana or 4 mana refresh 1 mana crystal per spell drawn.

You can't be serious. I don't believe it. Human IQ is higher than that.

Ceterum censeo classum magi esse delendam.
biggest loser: Kargal Battlescar
biggest winner: Tickatus fanboys
I really don`t understand
I lost countless games where deck of lunacy was played turn 4 or 5
If their goal was to make a super RNG deck like Lunacy not Top Tier, this change will not do the trick, calling it now...

I'll patiently wait for her inevitable unnerf when she rotates to wild. My reno rogue will miss her

Shitty nerfs! Time to move on since devs are so lazy and slack. God, I am so thankful I did not preorder this garbage!
