Play wild, it's a lot more chill. I've been avoiding standard and will continue to until mage and secret pally nerfs next week
Good joke, mate. Pala will remain ~56-60% Winrate after the Sword nerf, they created a Beast with Libram Synergy in Scholomance Academy, the deck is not going nowhere anytime soon.

If pen flinger gets nerfed hard, Libram Paladin will be a fair deck.
The bright side is that a lot of players who *don't* know how to play this game are playing those decks, and honestly? They're easy to win against. They assume they're going to win just by dropping cards out of their hand at random each turn, but if you play with even a modicum of thought and strategy, you win.

i mean you need to be a little more honest. Spell-mage is not exactly a hard deck to play. Sure people can missplay a little but most of the mage cards they get on the game are so over the top that you can win just playing stuff for curving mana sometimes (most times) cause mage RNg cards right now only hit good cards more than 50% of the time.
If your objective is to win then yeah, it's hard not to be in the 'can't beat them, join them' camp. That is why I climbed to Diamond 5 quickly and now am just experimenting with homebrewed decks and not caring if I win or lose, just having fun discovering interactions.
This did not need yet another thread, and certainly not a thread with absolutely nothing constructive about the discussion about the topic. Use one of the existing threads about Mages or Deck of Lunacy or the Upcoming Nerfs. Closing this.

I will sell my collection for 250 american dolllars. I have every pre order for the pat 4 years, 10k in gold, and 3k in dust.
Never worth it, plus you WILL bitterly regret such decision.
He won't.

Mage is still one of the most played classes on wild too...
lol 3k dust... if you buy each pre order you should have 100k+ dust lol...
