Paladin was one of very good and consistent classes already for a year, since librams were introduced. Now it is even stronger due to new core set, which is insane and all cards coming in this expansion being fit for the class as well. So no pretty much every paladin deck is very good, doesnt even matter what you put in there - secrets are great due to weapon and all trash ones leaving, librams are insanely strong tool, class works well with insanely OP pen flinger, there are many cards for dude paladin, which can work with all those cards...
I know mage is seen here as big problem (and I think it is), but it is rather random. Paladin is just so consistent, it just works so well and it will be hard to nerf it, because whatever card you nerf, they have 3-4 good replacements and archetypes for it. I am afraid the only nerf will be making the weapon 3 mana, which will be just a joke.
I would probably go a bit lighter on the nerfs, reducing the secret weapon to 2 durability and have pen flinger only hit minions.
Paladin has surely been very strong over the last year, but the pure synergy is now gone and the counters for secret paladin are getting fucked by lunacy mage (which should get nerfed soon). Getting 3 cards played from your deck for 2 mana is just.... Ridiculous
EDIT: I don't think more nerfs are needed, if mage and warlock get their respective nerfs as well.
Those nerfs are absolute batshit insane. Nerfs AND buffs have shown that the tiniest change to something, whether it's cost or effect, makes a massive difference. You're just destroying cards.
I could see some small nerfs to Paladin being enough, especially if there’s also some mage nerfs.
I’m thinking maybe Aldor Attendant goes back to two mana which would slow the deck’s value down quite a bit. Or you could limit how much individual librams can be discounted, but I think that’s less likely. Also the secret weapon going to two durability would be nice.
Would also love to see Animated Broomstick and Pen Flinger nerfed just because they are in every deck.
Secrets will still be played even if nerfed because the weapon is there to cast them for you. And if not, they cost 1 and have massive synergy with everything that the Paladin does. They are OP, especially if you look at what other classes have (e.g. other secrets). It feels like for this expansion they only worked on this one class and pretty much forgot about the rest. I am trying to have fun with other decks but just get destroyed. I get it, it's normal, some decks are stronger than others but this one has absolutely no weaknesses.

This is exactly what it was like last year too. It felt like they were balancing the entire meta around Paladin. Whenever a class became more powerful than Paladin, it caught a nerf while Paladin just continued on untouched. There wasn't a single nerf to Paladin last year until the very end when cheese Paladin caught a nerf.
Theres a difference between small nerfs to help balance a class and just destroying an archetype because you lost to it. Just hit penflinger and maybe drop the durability of the weapon. No need to destroy librams.
Weapon to 2 durability I think is a better change than to 3 mana. Makes it still good and playable but without drawing 3 cards and giving you +1 mana. Becomes a 0 mana draw 2 after 2 attacks but can still be played on turn two.
Honestly this game has been ruined by Paladin and Mage this expansion, I don't understand why its taking them so long to nerf both classes. Just get it done so the meta can open up. 3 small changes - Make lunacy 4 mana and unplayable, make the paladin weapon 3 mana and make it so Pen Flinger can only target minions.
Just nerf pen flinger into orbit. I think we can cope otherwise.
I don’t understand how people think penflinger is the issue in Paladin. He only works because they have “infinite” 0 mana spells.
The sword on two, and oh my yogg are the biggest offenders hands down. Triple mad scientist was obviously going to be too good, and a 1 mana secret that “counters” a spell is too strong as well. Let alone when it’s pulled off the sword.
They build up an insane early game, and then protect it with yogg.
Pen flinger wouldn’t have the reach if they didn’t have the most insane early game available (damage on your face) combined with an “infinite” bounce back mechanic.
Nerf the sword to 3 mana, make it so librams can’t cost less than 1, and as suggested above, make oh my yogg work only on spells that cost 3 or less.

Librams can't cost less that 1;
Pen Flinger makes temporary copies that perish after turn end (like Echo);
Oh My Yogg! now procs only on spells that cost 3 or less.
Libram of Hope summon stats now equal to spell manacost
These are probably the best suggestions I've seen for adjusting these cards....so I know it won't happen.
Good suggestions so far.

paladin is fine cuz if anything it needs a small buff

Paladin wouldn't be OP if pen flinger didn't go face and literally, every single counter to it is kicked out of meta by Mage and Warlock.
Pen flinger is the real card to nerf. Insanely good and overused

Check out my fun and innovative decks here:
Beat your opponent to a pulp with Revenant Warrior or outlast them with Demon Reno Warlock.
Libram of hope should choose between heal,taunt and divine shield

Weapon to 3 mana. Libram of Hope / Pen Flinger can only target minions. Those are the changes I would like to see.

hahaha wtf are these nerfs to yogg and hope.
Pen flinger should deal 1 damage to a random enemy and the weapon would be fine at 3 mana. Other than that no changes are needed to paladin
Play today 12 games, 1 warlock show up to say "Hello, I still exists", 5 paladins secrets and 6 mages.
"Nice meta", 2 classes being played, 1 almost gone and 7 completely erradicated out of existence.
Nerfs can't come soon enough.
