In order to use him, you kindof have to have more than just 2 frenzy minions in your deck, however most of the frenzies have pretty very varying effects. This leads to the card being really unreliable, and i think it would make way more sense if it let you discover twice a minion to resurrect in order choose what suits the situation (even if it means saurfang's cost has to go to 8 to balance it out)

Played a few Taunt Warrior games yesterday and today and he's fair! He'd be OP (and slower) with a discover resurrect effect.

Well he does, depending on what frenzy minions you put in your deck you can control the outcome.

If you are playing Saurfang you should only play Taurajo Brave, Stonemaul Anchorman and Razormane Raider in you deck, maybe Whirling Combatant and Blademaster Samuro if you want to target aggro decks

Saurfang is fine the way he is. He's strong, without being overpowered, and requires deckbuilding choices to be made.

Nope, and I'm not saying this out of hostility to resurrect effects.  I've even defended Res priest from time to time.

Folks are right when they say that resurrect effects are typically self-selected.  Don't put Warsong Envoy in your Saurfang deck.  Best bet is probably Stonemaul Anchorman, to get a 4/"4" rush and draw a card.  Stronk value.  Stuff like Taurajo Brave and Razormane Raider are probably too slow overall, even if strong when resurrected.
