anyone else having fun facing only mage and paladin? iv legit not seen anything else in diamond 5 the last 2 hours wtf... 1 deathrattle demon hunter aswell...
all i see is no minion mage and secret libram paladin, my two biggest counters..
two very forced archetypes who rules the meta, what a surprise... forced archetypes... you know you are playing a forced archetype if you for some reason can draw cards for free or you can play a 8/8 taunt with divine shield that heals 8 for 3 mana
What are you playing ? Just curious send the decklist, to see if there's no forced archetype within your deck.
Aggro decks can deal with spell mage pretty easily and they are ok against libram paladin.
On platinum 10 I see every class except DH, very occasionally shaman. Pretty balanced so far.
playing shaman, that should be answer enough for you
Murloc, Elemental, Windfury or Nature aggro ? I'm just saying, it's been years since archetypes haven't been forced, every deck is a forced archetype and it's what keeps the game fresh, so no need to pretend you are better.
Now, for your mage and paladin concern. I don't think you can reliably beat libram paladin with shaman currently. Shaman is pretty much restricted to aggro and midrange, because there is not enough card draw, all I can suggest is play Malygos in your deck it'll help. And libram paladin eats aggro/midrange for breakfast.
But any of the 4 shaman archetypes I mentionned should work fine with mage, they have no healing, they don't build a lot of board pressure, should give you enough time to deal 30 face damage.
Have you considered experimenting with older archetypes like Windfury shaman with doomhammer and Inara ? Literally nobody plays Ooze on expansion launches it's a good time to play weapons.

I'm going to be honest, that's part of the problem.
I tried building shaman decks ... they all feel so bad, even when they win.
I didn't try murloc Shaman, but from what i've faced it's bad (it wins randomly sometimes, but most of the time it's really bad).
I tried spell damage shaman, both as aggro and as midrange... It's very underwhelming without lava burst.
I tried elemental shaman as a midrange deck, and you just play with half your deck as there's no real draw engine (besides mana tide totem which is very difficult to protect) and you have no real win condition.
the more I looked at the class, the more I realised they pretty much removed every win condition. No bloodlust, no flame tongue for al akir, no Hagatha, no lava burst for burn damage strategies. Even totem shaman is dead without the 4 mana axe...
I think it's currently the worst class in the game. Even worse than demon hunter.

Elemental Shaman is strong against Paladin as they essentially can run 4x Hex. Also, they can run Devolving Missiles and Revolve, which screws up any buffs or secrets-turned-minions. Plus they have lots of removal and healing.

You’re playing nothing but them, claim they are your biggest counters, and aren’t switching your deck up why?

because playing multiple decks this early in an expansion is very expensive
thanks man, always happy to get some unwanted advice from someone lower ranked than me...
when does shaman get a 0 mana draw 2?
btw playing maly is a horrible advice... gl on climbing but don't pick shaman because you won't get fare with it
Ok then keep losing to mage decks that you should destroy and shut your face, i'm climbing just fine, I'll be diamond 5 tonight and legend whenever I care, granted not with shaman lol. Playing maly is the best advice you'll ever get your whole class is dead without it you don't have enough reach to react to opponents that have recovered from your early game.

Don't bother: the dude's just looking for a reason to complain. The fact that he took constructive comments and played the cheesy "I'm higher rank than you" BS tells you all you need to know.
If all you want to do is whine, go to the salt thread.

Funniest part is he played that card from diamond 5. I'm not ragging on that rank at all but that really is the minimum a competent player should be getting to, time permitted.
You're right, they don't want advice, help or guidance. I most complaints on this forum are similar.

when someone seeks advice help or guidance they ask for it... imposing that someone seeks guidance very rude, I am sure many of you guys are socially inadept so i have to spell it out for you...
the correct thing would be to ask if advice was desired, answer would obviously be "from a diamond 10?, LOL NO TY"

At D5 today no minion Mage is about 14% and secret Paladin is about 11%, Libram Paladin is about 5% nothing unusual...
Hey, there seem to be some constructive people in here. I'm having a similar problem with no minion mage and secret paladin. Currently playing a control watch tower control DH that's pretty similar to that leoroxx hunter that is running around, but instead of king krush I use the new illidari inquisitor + felosophy to make copies.
I'm just wondering if you guys can think of any disruption for no minion mage. If I don't get a really good start I'm pretty screwed by their insane mana cheat most of the time.
Secret Paladin I'm not so sure I want to try and tech against, I do okay but it's just stupid frustrating to play against if I don't get a good draw.

As far as DH goes, you do have a few counters to Secret Paladin. Expendable Performers are really good as it doesn’t matter what you get redirected to since you want them all to die anyway. Mage Hunter is good tech against a buffed Paladin minion, and Chaos Nova is a good board clear. Also, Mystic is good if you play Soul Fragments, and Kurtrus Ashfallen is pretty good as well. My favorite tech is Throw Glaive + Mo’ag Artificer.

I encounter more rogues than mages or paladins. Also a warlock here and there.

I just added my first one to a deck cause I didn't have a certain legendary. Meta moves quick. I look forward to oozing some Paladins soon. >:|

Another member also gave you nice tips against paladins, play Hex, Devolving missile and Lilypad Lurker.

Cassino Mage and Cheat-Secret-Paladin at Diamond 5, over and over and over
This meta is a complete disaster

I saw no warrior since the release of expansion.
