playing spell damage shaman and iv gotten from r5 to legend really easy... like legit 3 hours max with like 2 games lost, one of them being due to huge missplay and totally preventable... sitting around 12k legend right now and it is still working fanstastic even tho there are some cards that i would like that i cannot afford atm
I won against libram palladin with mine control warrior but secret palladin is just a lose for me because of the insane aggresive start.
Because of the aggresive start of secret palladin you also have to test some secrets before you can actually play the game. Like you want to board clear? Well you need to test for oh my yog. But in the earlier stages of the game this is really hard. Its like facing a less cancerous secret mage of wild.
Druid feels shitty so far, more tinkering required but I think they're going to need some future expansions to get the ball rolling again. Hunter got hardcore crucified :(
Murloc shaman feels pretty good. Warrior has some viability but requires tinkering. Mage is fun as hell, probably not top tier though. DH is in a weird spot but that have strong stuff from FITB. Priest is fun so far, and their kit feels better than the previews would lend you to believe.
Paladin is indeed incredibly strong. Rogue is a broken fuckingclown fiesta. Control warlock is insanely strong and it's the majority of my matches in diamond.
The new legendary 5/5 make spell damage mage viable, best possible minion to draw after opponent kill the legendary is the doubled 6/6 when you have spell damage, you get two 6/6 with spell damage +2 and the ability to pass to next minion.
I've just got to legend in two days from Diamond 5 with No Minion Mage (first legend ever, yay!). I quickly discovered that minions and tokens multiply like crazy this rotation and thought: oh, if I had this spell or that spell etc. And this deck is able to produce enough minions if you want that you can just play around and adapt your strategy based on what you get as there are very few duds in general. It's a winner.
I've had a few bad draws and the Murloc Shaman can be problematic due to its speed alone. But I was steamrolling through vast majority of my encounters (25 wins, 10 losses was enough).
It's same as always. Run any top tier deck and highroll like a boss. That works for all the scrubs who have no clue but still manage to highroll their way up the ranks. Don't fool yourself into thinking it's anything but rng.
Or you have success with something else?
I wouldn't say it's the only viable class, but IMO it feels SUPER overtuned and really difficult to handle.
I dont play in new meta yet. Is that paladin is as strong as Mysterious Challenger Christmas Tree Pal?
I have been tearing it up with Kazakus/Mankrik rogue. Haven't lost to any paladins yet. I've faced two secret pallys thus far.
This meta feels horrible
Classes are SO unbalanced.
Paladin and Rogue seems to have everything.
Meanwhile a lot of classes like Shaman Priest Hunter Druid feels like dumpster tier.
On top of that Half the decks are running the watchpost package to have any chance.
It's getting old preeeety fast

Paladin and rogues are hard but beatable.
