Watchpost? Did you mean warlock? With all the new support cards, all I've seen is warlock warlock warlock... it could be a goddamn medical diagnosis. Tickatus Obnoxinous.
But I think it's somewhat of a fair concept. The watch posts have premium stats for their cost, in exchange for not being able to attack. However, their effects seem strong enough that maybe they'd be fine with non-premium stats. 2/3 and 3/4, or 1/4 and 2/5, maybe.
Even if this is true, best to wait. Patch Day 1 often sees a proliferation of bad aggro, since lots of folks are trying out new slower strategies. If the watch posts are really oppressive a week from now, taking down a few of the stats might not be unreasonable.
Why so bitter? Are you finally winning games thanks to this shit? You can also win with balanced cards if you're good enough you know?
If someone disagrees with you then they are 'bitter'? Cool, pointless then putting your opinion on a forum really, isn't it?
I've come against towers in 5 games so far and won all of them bar 1. And that was because of the legebdary which summons the 5/5s and I had no answer to 5 of them at once. I'm not saying they aren't powerful but maybe play for a few days, try and counter them etc first before shouting for nerfs?
I'm assuming you weren't really anticipating them, don't know to play around them, haven't teched against them etc. Do that first.
What kind of deck do you play? Control? So everyone has to play control now because of the stupid watchposts?
Best decks right now by far are secret Paladin and spell mage, neither of which run watch posts, so I doubt there’s going to be a watch post nerf. They are great for slowing the game down a bit, but slowing down the game only really matters for combo and aggro decks, so they don’t do that much in other match ups.
And midrange tempo too. So basically three types of decks are impaired because of a card and this is normal according to you?
Yes. The definition of a good meta is one which has several different decks which counter each other. Yes, watch posts counter some decks, but they also get wrecked by some other decks. That’s how metas should be. No deck should be able to win every matchup consistently.
Yeah these cards don't need premium stats, 2/3 and 3/4 would be fine. "Can't attack" isn't a drawback when they have suffocating effects that demand they get dealt with. It reminds me of Arcane Amplifier in arena where once it was down you just weren't allowed to play the game. Not exactly fun.
I am also not complaining about the whole watch post package but specifically about Far Watch Post
The other two are balanced and manageable.
Yes. It's okay for decks to have counters. Watchtower decks pretty much get stomped by anything vaguely resembling control.
I concede that it's not a particularly fun mechanic, but stun has it's place in CCGs.

To be sure, it's too soon.

Time will tell.

Should cost 3 not 2
